Remember how we told you Patrick Seitz had been skulking around the Marriott between his last two Nan Desu Kan appearances? Well, we made sure he went home last year after things wrapped up. We thought we were doing everybody a favor.
We were wrong.
Patrick snapped shortly thereafter, retreating into a fantasy world of his own creation, in which Nan Desu Kan is a year-round event. “Why bring him back to the real NDK, then, if he’s already there in his mind?” you’re probably wondering. Because it’s meta, son. Very meta.
Anyhow, here are some of his credits, for those of you tuning in late. Anime: Germany in Hetalia, Franky in One Piece, Agil in Sword Art Online, Sky High in Tiger & Bunny, Senji in Deadman Wonderland, Simon in Durarara, Laxus in Fairy Tail, Sloth in FMA: Brotherhood, JP in Redline, Agni in Black Butler, George in Paradise Kiss, Motochika Chosokabe in Sengoku Basara, Nekozawa in Ouran High School Host Club, Isshin Kurosaki in Bleach, and Grimmer in Monster.
Vidya games! Ragna in the BlazBlue franchise, Scorpion in the last few Mortal Kombat titles, Fenrich in Disgaea 4, Chopin in Eternal Sonata, Dracula in various 2D incarnations of Castlevania, Cervantes in SoulCalibur V, Bob and Hugo in Street Fighter X Tekken, Artanis in StarCraft 2, Arthas Menethil and Garrosh Hellscream in World of Warcraft, and a bevy of demonic horrors in Diablo 3.
He also adapts scripts—like, tons of ‘em—and directs VO for anime and games sometimes. He has a BA and MFA in creative writing, and hopes to collect the rest of the letters someday soon.
