Yet another weapons question

Hello NDK!

Would a lightsaber that has a metal hilt be allowed under the new rules?

Also, maybe a sticky for weapons rule questions might be in order, I bet its going to be a popular thing to ask questions about!

So long as the ONLY part(s) of it that are metal are the hilt, and or the grip (part where your hand grips it while holding), I would say yes.

A couple things to note here is that two lightsabers are combined to make a staff, I don't plan to carry it around NDK like that, just as the two separate sabers. You can see the coupler in the middle that combines the two lightsabers. The second thing to note is that I know you are starting from a clean slate and all with the weapons rules, but I had a different lightsaber that I carried around as a saberstaff at NDK 2 years ago(Peacebonded of course), and since I am a responsible adult, not once did I do anything to get talked to by security.

The mass majority of our attendees are responsible, and we don't have problems from them. The pic shown, I would believe it is fine.
