OPS/Orange tipping arrows?

I'm planning on cosplaying a character whose weapon is a bow and arrow, and I read on an older forum post that you can't knock your arrows to your bow(totally understandable) but I was wondering if there were any rules on the arrows that need to be followed, i.e. no metal tips etc. and I was wondering if adding orange foam tips to the end of the arrows would be a good idea? I've already taken the metal tips off my arrows for safety reasons, and I don't plan on knocking them at all.

Any positive feedback would be much appreciated!  :D

Provided they are never nocked, and since the metal tips have been removed, I see no need to orange tip them from a Security standpoint. Ops has final veto though.

I agree with Sarge, there should not be a need to orange tip your arrows. However, there are to be absolutely no metal tips, hard plastic tips or real tips of any sort. They also should never be knocked. If you have any questions and aren't sure, just come see us in Ops : ) Thanks for asking!
