Anyone else loathe anime but love NDK anyway? Or is it just me?

The Enigma:
I'm definitely not as into anime as I used to be, and I think I never was a hardcore fan--there were a few shows I liked and that was it. I guess that's still true, only now I hardly ever watch them or branch out into anything new. It's not as big a thing for me as it used to be, but I do love NDK. I love seeing all the outfits and art and everything. *_*

I used to watch a lot of anime, but I haven't watched anything in a long time (save for some DVDs that I throw on every now and then). I love NDK for its atmosphere, stuff to buy, artist's products and nicknacks. I love seeing the fantastic cosplays and art and buying things. xD

Loathe is a strong word, but it's not just you. I barely watch anime nowadays, but I still enjoy conventions.

starstreaker:
I find it hard to say I loath anime, because it encoumpasses a whole slew of genres. I love Sci-Fi and Fantasy, and there are certain anime that cater to that. I love those little slice-of-life shows that are not meant to be a comedy, but has their funny moments, or a romance, but there is some love.

Saying I loath anime would be like saying I loath American cinema. There is just too much stuff that is so different from each other for me to hate everything that we consider to be anime.
