Question Regarding a Skit
« on: January 14, 2012, 05:26:30 pm »
I feel odd posting this question now since nothin's really been updated for 2012, but I figure it best to ask before it's too late.

So, I would like to cosplay Vivi from the original Luminous Arc. The game (and Atlus, who made it) are both of Japanese origin so that I'm not too worried about.

Now, when you look at Vivi's design, she obviously has middle eastern/genie origins, and as such I would rather like to coordinate a belly dancing skit. On the NDK website, it says exceptions can be made for all-dance routines if they're traditional Japanese dances, but I'm curious if an exception could be made for belly dance as well? s:

If not, would it still be alright to incorporate such a dance into the regular 45-second walk on?

That part of the rules won't be changing, so the belly dancing is a no go for the skit. But you can do it for the walk on portion of the contest! Just make sure in the comment section on the registration form you put down a cue for when you want your music to start otherwise it'll start when you walk on to the stage.
The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it.
