Hetalia Cosplays/Photoshoot

This thread is for Hetalia Cosplays/ for NDK 2012

I will list what you say you are cosplaying as cosplays are mentioned. If you say you might or maybe, I will put your screen name and a (maybe), (deciding) if you are deciding between characters, and (version) if you are doing a different version of the character. If you mention a friend's cosplay, I will list them as YOUR SCREEN NAME's friend, until you give me their forum name or real name, etc. There is link for APH minor characters, for additional ideas, as well as a list for Nyotalia (genderbender) characters. Please, don't worry if there is a lot of cosplayers for one character, the more the merrier.

**This list is just to show who's cosplaying as who. It does NOT mean that you are commited to this cosplay. If something comes up and you can't or don't want to cosplay Hetalia or if you switch characters, that's fine, just tell me on in a comment if you're on the list, so I can update it.

Please alert me via comment if I missed your name or a friend's (Even for multiple cosplays) and for telling me friends' names for the list. Or any mistakes.**

This thread is also for a possible photoshoot for this cosplay group, as more people become interested in this, I will try to arrange one, hopefully at a time everyone can agree on. But it will not be during the masquerade or any dance. So feel free to comment on this and location ideas also.

Well the Chibitalia and Holy Rome (the two the got "married") might be making an apperance again this year.

I'm going as a Pirate France and my dear friend is going as Pirate Iggy. And I'm also putting together a Mafia N.Italy My friend MIGHT do Nazi Germany.

Hiya! Im going to be cosplaying vietnam, fem!Italy, Fem!Romano, Dark!Fem!Italy, and Fem!Canada (maybe more idk)  and I know my friends well be cosplaying Italy, England, Russia (maybe), Hungary, Lithuanian, Dark!Italy, and Pope!Italy so yah lol

For NDK 2012 I'm probably going to cosplay as Spain and my friend will most likely be Prussia. We decided that we were going to be the pirate version

I will probably start making a list of who's cosplaying as what, including the maybes pretty soon. If you mentioned a friend's cosplay, I'll probably put it down as: YOUR SCREEN NAME's friend.

This is not meant to list you or them as committing to this cosplay. If you change your mind anytime between now and Sept. that's fine, just making a list. I'll even put characters that aren't being cosplayed yet, maybe it will give someone an idea for one.

And then, once we get some more cosplayers, then we could discuss the possibility of meeting up, doing a photoshoot, and ideas on other things we might want to do.

Does any one know who to talk to about arranging a photoshoot? Just so it won't become a problem trying to get one set up later.

Photoshoots are arranged by you guys, the attendees.  Usually someone starts a thread with the topic of 'such and such' Photoshoot.  Usually the threads start cropping up on the forums closer to the convention, but whenever you guys want to start planning, it's up to you.

Some people start a photoshoot thread early for their series/game/etc to solicit people to cosplay, and then decide on a day/time as it gets closer and when they know more about what they are doing or what the schedule might look like at con.

Oh, okay. I've only seen a few cosplay photoshoots, so I didn't really know how it was planned,  so thank you for explaining. This may be a silly question, but is there a con photographer at this con that helps out with the photoshoots or we just take our own pictures?

The Photoshoots are generally shot by other attendees; lots of people participating as a character in the photoshoot also take pictures of the group themselves.  Sometimes I've seen people who were interested in the Anime tend to drop by the photoshoots in addition to the 'participants' themselves.  There really isn't anything formal for the photoshoots, convention wise, otherwise.

In years passed, there usually is a collective scheduling thread that goes up close to convention that people can post their times (decided in their own separate threads).  Sometimes, again, in years passed, the attendee planned schedule is done as a brief poster to be displayed on site in a central location that allows people who may not frequent the forums/site to see if anybody was planning to get together for a photoshoot in an anime/game/subject they like.
