NDK 2012 Guest Wish List

I started this when I first registered, thinking that we each had to start a thread for guests we wanted to request for NDK 2012. I didn't realize that this would take off into an actual wish list. You all can keep posting here as much as you want, but please keep in mind that there are some threads for some of the really requested guests, as some people have mentioned, please try to comment on those as well. It'll inform NDK which guests you all really want. This strategy won't guarantee them coming but it helps. I'll list guests that have threads. Remember to check out NDK Announcements for guest confirmation http://ndkdenver.org/forum/index.php/topic,6798.0.html Also, please try to keep in mind the genre of the guests you are requesting; try not to request too many guests that don't have that much to do with genres like anime, video games, Jap music, cosplay, manga, their respected creators, etc.

@Breanna At one con, I met Micheal Sinternaklaas (Kappa Mikey) and I told him he was cool and if he ever saw the guy who played Gonard (Sean Schemmel), to tell him that too. He whipped out his phone and speed-dialed him and Sean and I had a weird conversation. Meanwhile Mike and another friend were video taping meh DX. Later I found out he also plays Goku from DBZ, and I was all :0 lol, meaning I wanted to meet him too cuz he's awesome and I watched DBZ back in the days of Toonami

I wanna meet Jerry too, Kyo, Jimmy Kudo (cased closed), Barry the chopper, and Lau and Russia!!!! X3

A correction, since I see this come up so often...Cristina Vee is not the English VA of Haruhi, Wendee Lee is. Cristina is the costume model after they replaced Patricia Lee for the live action promotional videos. I know that she has a sizable fan base that has pretty much demanded that the anime be redubbed in english again just to replace Wendee with Cristina(which in of itself is INSANE, because of the production costs alone to do so), and she's done her own fandubs of herself as the voice of Haruhi, but suffice to say, she is not Haruhi's VA. Just clearing up that misconception.


That said...I do put my voice in on Johnny, and also, Reubon Langdon and Dan Southworth of DMC fame as Dante and Vergil. To boot, yes, they are Power Rangers. Both were stunt actors in Lightspeed, Dan was bumped to starring role in Time Force, and Reubon was also a suit actor during Time Force. And yeah, can we get Crispin back? he was able to make it in '02 after the 2001 cancellation, I'd love to see NDK get him back. :3

I totally agree with J. Michael Tatum and Johnny Yong Bosch coming.
Unfortunately this year Todd and Vic both are already planed for different conventions at the same time as NDK.
Patrick has come to NDK 2 years in a row now so you might be lucky and get a 3rd year.

Haha Noein lol.  I'd love to meet Crispin Freeman.  He really is my favorite voice actor.  And if I ever get my Hellsing OVA DVDs back...

I'd love to meet Kouta Hirano as well (noticing a theme?).  Moving away from Hellsing people, I'd love to meet Bob Buchholz (Gene Starwind from Outlaw Star), Kirk Thorton (Brand Heat/Beyond the Grave from Gungrave), and Matt Hoverman (Captain Harlock from Harlock Saga).

I'm going to be super psyched for any guest NDK gets this year, but as for a wish list I'd have to go with Kate Higgins (Sakura and Udon in Naruto, Karin Kurosaki, Retsu Unohana, Nanao Ise and Lily in Bleach, Saber in Fate/Stay Night, CC in Code Geass, etc., Johnny Yong Bosch (Renton in Eureka 7, Vash in Trigun, Ichigo in Bleach, etc.), Mela Lee (Yuki Cross in Vampire Knight, Rin Tosaka in Fate/Stay Night, Rachel Alucard in Blazblue), Liam O' Brien (Gaara in Naruto, Alex in Neverdead, False Archer in Fate/Stay Night), Michelle Ruff (Rukia in Bleach, Zephie in Magna Carta 2, Maximille Arcadia in Neverdead, Arcueid Brunestud in Tsukihime, C. Viper in Street Fighter), Laura Bailey (Lust in FMA, Platinum the Trinity in Blazblue, Chun Li in Street Fighter, etc).  As for Music guests, my vote goes to Johnny's band Eyeshine or Mela's band Magnolia Memoir or if Kate Higgins is a guest just get her to do a one woman show because she's super talented as a musician herself!
