Wait, totally random, a tradition in my family, or rather my mother's excuse for giving really weird and random gifts, the Christmas Pickle.
The Christmas Pickle comes all the way from Europe, I think, German...its a pickle orniment you hide somewhere on the tree each day, then on Christmas day, someone finds it, and gets a prize...(usually in our family, its a gag gift, one year I ended up finger puppets and other random weird stuff...)
