I'm thinking of pulling together a Team Rocket Jesse cosplay, and I was wondering, should i pull back a wig like hers, or just keep it flat?

The great thing about Jesse is that she's recognizable, even if you choose to leave it flat.

If I were doing it, I'd leave it flat. I love to re-use my wigs and quite honestly, even the better Jesse wigs still look really bad. :\
I know that people put a LOT of effort into being accurate, but defying gravity isn't really on my to do list.

there are some Rurouni kenshin wigs for sale in the cosplay.com marketplace I would start there because its cheaper, and often they are somewhat styled

Okay folks~ I'm going to be tackling my first wig soon..
Which shall be Blair from Soul Eater. And to be honest, this thing is stressing me out so much that I've been crying. I've posted a thread on Cosplay.com http://www.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=200730

But I feel miserably r-----ed and I just can't "get" it. :/ any tips from experienced locals?

You'd have to use a core of some type to keep the curls' shapes - no amount of hairspray or gel will keep them in place.

i have an impossible task - i need a wig that looks like sangos' (inuyasha) by june 10th for under $22 including tax and shipping. any ideas on how to get this impossible task done?

Getting one that long for that price wont happen trust me... Ive tried.. The best way to do it now if you really want it..is to search around for people near you or maybe cosworks and haggle a bit but it wont be 22

I have a question. I'm going to be saber from stay/fate night. And I was wondering if it would be smarter to just to have her hair down/in a pony tail or actually try and have it styled.....

OH! AND ADVICE THAT YOU SHOULD KNOW!!!!!!! NEVER LET YOUR WIG SIT IN THE SUN FOR MORE THAT 15 MINS!

I would say that how you wanna style it depends on your skill level. The bun and braid is iconic of the character, but yes.. her hair is down now and then.

And uh.. 15 minutes in the sun? Really now? People sit outside for HOURS in the sun with wigs. Unless it's a super cheap wig, I don't think you have anything to worry about from a little sun ^_^;; Wigs can be sundamaged, but it takes more than 15 minutes.

Leading me to believe that there are other factors at work in your case.

I need help! My friend got a Zack Fair wig and it's a total mess, they sent the wig with the cosplay in the same box, my friend had asked another person to fix it, but that fell through. I know what it's supposed to look like, but I have no idea what the hell I'm doing. any help would be great!
