All right, so this is what I'm reading: hang the wig and spray with hair spray, and then shape the ends. If necessary, tease the hair by combing some of the bunches towards the scalp. Is this correct? Then I use caulk on the tips.
What brand of hair spray should I use for kanekelon? I read once that certain hair sprays can damage a kanekelon wig, and I don't want that happening to my wig.

I had found when working with the fibers that gel wasn't allowing me to get the style I wanted, so I made a watered-down solution of the hairgel and sprayed that on the spikes (unfortunately, afterwards when my sister tried it on that's when I discovered it had a tendency to fall.) So, if it's in a large, spiky mass as opposed to the larger, individual spikes, it should hold up longer?
