theres a link to one of my first attempts at messing around with bases and my ideas. Im really trying to scout for what people will like, but my topic in the cosplay section isn't doing so hot. so would anyone be able to help me in knowing what you might be interested in cosplay wise? or even just a fad. I might try some gir things, some pokemon, just not sure which cosplay to chase after.

I think that if you're going to sell cosplay, you should do something more detailed. If you want to sell clothing items, you definately need some variety. So for example, a cosplay would be a costume from an anime/video game - rather than just a shirt.

If you're looking at selling cosplay, go for popular anime looks. Maybe like hats or shirt + skirt type outfits. If you want to sell shirts, I like what you designed. You may want to look into different colors and perhaps even more detailed designs. Be sure to have a variety of sizes though!

I like the shirt but my only problem is, will it be machine washable? It looks like it would rip apart by the seams (literally) if you put it in the wash without putting it in a bra bag or something.

well i made that specific shirt for a friend, and hemmed all the edges, so maybe the ribbon would get a little tangle but besides that it shouldn't be too bad.

and YES detailed cosplay is a direction i wanna go. Im just not motivated enough to pic a random character and make their cosplay. im hoping for some suggestions.....but the forum like to just view my other post. :(

I may be working on medusa from soul eater.....good idea?

The problem is that popular anime change from year to year. So it is very hard to make specific suggestions so early before the next convention. You'll get a better idea of what will be popular later next year.

But there are certain types of outfits that will always be semi-popular: for example, school outfits for girls. So you may look into Bleach school outfits, etc. Also, Vocaloid seemed to be very popular this last year. So maybe something like that.

Sorry, I don't know Soul Eater, so I can't make suggestions on that.

gotcha! any response is super helpful....and helps me motivate!

i got a base to do some vocaloid...which did seem popular, and i will look into school girl outfits.
