NDK 2011 Favorite cosplays

Anyone have a favorite cosplay they saw at NDK this year?

I for one liked the Ho-oh, Groudon, Dragonite, and Scraffy Pokemon suits. I didn't realized how awesome and big they were until I saw them. Also liked the Different versions of Buu from Dragonball Z. Robocop was just kick butt also!!!

How 'bout you guys?

I think my favorites were probably the light-up Mikuo from the cosplay competition and the Gamzee I kept running into on Saturday and Sunday.

I absolutely loved the Mr. Face cosplay from Amnesia and all the Doctors from Dr. Who.

And of course I was extremely proud of my costume, although it was simple:

I'm pretty bummed that I only found 3 total pics of it on the internet, when I got tons of pictures taken of me.

I really liked the Mr. Face cosplays as well,  and the Mikuo. xD The minecraft creepers were pretty sweet.

There's a special place in my heart for my buddy who was the Kamina Prinny for all the heat exhaustion, dehydration, and general uncomfortable pain of wearing his costume.

But I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the Fallout guys, the Duct Tape Gundam, and of course the Beer Knights.

But my all time favorite for this year would probably have to be the Seymour who did an outstanding job portraying the character. Definitely a fitting Cosplay.

Mr. Face from Amnesia, Batman, Chii in the pink dress, Gumi in the Matryoshka hoodie with the facepaint and coloured contacts, and Basically Every Animal-themed Costume I Freaking Saw.

Oh and Hone-onna, but she was in my group. XD

I really enjoyed the Tardis Cosplay, Mr. Face, and a certain group of Homestuck peeps.

Loved Kamina Prinny!!

Also loved the Appa, Osias as Cabbage man(your 'my cabbages' was perfect!) and the sibblings who dressed as Katara and Sokka and as Azula and Zuko!

I loved the little 4th Doctor cosplayer with his stuffed horse dressed as K9. He was so dang adorable!!!

I really liked the Appa also!  I also liked: The Robocop, The red queen of hearts, The Ronald Mcdonald Miku (thats what she was right??) the Amaimons that tracked me down as Mephisto, and the other Kusuriuri. I prolly scared her a bunch with all my fan squealing hah~  My oh my you guys were awesome! <3

Edit: And the Dragon Knight cosplayers in the cosplay contest!! D= No one does Dragon Knight ;A; they were awesome!

I didn't get to see as many cosplays as I would have liked, but my top three were the Lego Man, the three girls dressed as Kyoshi Warriors, and the Business/Pirate/Steampunk Ninja. Talk about class!

Here are some of my favorites:

Vash the Stampede: I realize that there were a couple at NDK this year, but this one was flawlessly in character every time I saw him. He even got a group started with "Love and Peace!" by the bathrooms. Well done!

Any DBZ cosplay: I am glad that this series continues to get some love. I saw a pink-shirt Vegeta, Saiyaman and Saiyawoman, Gotenks, Videl, and a couple Androids and Buus. Thank you for always making me smile!

I was also delighted to see Kusuri-uri (Mononoke) and Yurine (Karas), as well as Gene, Aisha, and Jim from Outlaw Star, and Chrno and Rosette from Chrno Crusade. All of them did a fantastic job on their cosplays!

I'd also like to mention the girl who wore what looked like a wolf pelt and camped out near Artist's Alley on Friday. When she bent over, her costume was so convincing that many people were doing double-takes! And when people went to pet her, she continued to stay in character. Very nicely done.

My favorites were hands down the Soul Eater peeps who came to Death Bucks, especially the Excaliburs. The Death City balcony was the best.
Other than that I really enjoyed seeing what kind of little Zelda cosplays there were. The Fierce Deity in the skirt was soooo precious <3

You forgot that he also wore it while sleep-deprived.

Also, I forgot the Daughter of Evil Rin cosplay that was in the contest.  I loved her dress so much.

The amazing Alois from black butler who played the kings game was freaking awesome. and makes me want to watch the black butler.... I also had a magnet that pulled me constantly to the jack sparrows["theres a captain there, captain jack sparrow" "whatever, bye jack!" "captian! jack..."]. yes i loved them both. hmmm and well i really loved the staff that didnt chew my face off when i was super sarcastic about showing my badge. I was a bit of a jerk to most of the staff.

Mr. steampunk pants (chains and such...massive gun. dashing looks. you know the one. ;) )was pretty great too. I happened to take a b line straight to you at the dances purely to watch your mad skills and watch all the girls swoon at your glance.

and i just HAD to get a pic of the beautiful little kiki!! she was great.

falco and fox from star fox made me pee just a little. :B

if i could see everyones cosplay all at once and actually digest it i would comment on how beautiful you all are. :D

The girl who was Balrog from Cave Story. That was just so awesome. And of course all the rest of the One Piece cosplayers.

My favorites were the soul eater, and black butler groups and the woman who was cosplaying "Blue Rose" from tiger and bunny. ^_____^ I didnt end up getting a pic of her because she always popped up when I was on my way to a panel or/and forgot my camera. ^^;

I must say I really enjoyed seeing the Chrono Trigger cosplayers.  I believe I saw a Crono, a Frog, and a Magus.  Maybe two Crono.

Also, the gal dressed up from Knights in Nightmare was awesome.

Loved the steam punk stuff, especially the guy with the copper pipe rifle and EL wire, The Grand Galactic Inquisitor! and the Full armor Mandalorian or "Boba Fett" as everyone else called him, his armor was EPIC!
