Kisanzi and I have just completed the most amazing contest intro this convention will ever see.

And we did it in 3 days.

It was awesome too... Nyan Cat song foxtrot tango whiskey. Shame about the technical difficulties, though. I remember scottanime saying something about how the tech experts were working to try and fix it and I yelled out "FIRE THEM AND HIRE NEW ONES!" just to be silly.

I really enjoyed the contest this year as well. A LOT of solid entries this year, and it definitely has challenged me for next year.

I'd love to enter a video next year, but I don't have any editing programs besides windows movie maker, so I think that's a no. ^_^;;

I just have to say, out of the 11 years (!!) I've been to NDK now, one of the coolest memories so far comes from the AMV Contest this year:

"Sweet, Journey.  Not many people use Journey for AMVs.  Clips from Shinkai, looking good for sourc-.  Wait...  Is that... people singing?    Wow, that's a lot of people singing along with the song.  ...     *joins in* "

-and then even more people joined in when the video was played during the awards ceremony!

Hearing the whole crowd sing along to Journey was awesome. I wish I could have been at the award ceremony, I heard that there were cellphones and lighters in the air everywhere.
