Weapons Policy Question
« on: August 17, 2011, 04:16:29 pm »
hello. I am playing as Winry Rockbell from FMA and I was wondering if a real wrench would be considered a weapon at NDK. its only going to be 6 inches long but would I have to buy a toy wrench instead? I am just checking before I buy it... thank you!

If it's metal I'd bet that Ops won't allow it.
Tell me now. Is there a man among you here? Is there no one who will stand up and try to fight?
Tell me Man, is there not one in all your ranks? Is there not one who values courage over life?

Actually, since a similar case has been brought up already concerning a large monkey wrench here, it would probably be fine.  Plus, I know at prop check we've seen large solid wrenches, so you should be fine.

I can also help to identify bootlegs, if you have a questionable item, send me a message and some pictures if you can and I'll get back to you when I can.

All props such as wrenches, swords, 'guns', etc should be taken by the Ops desk so that you may receive their 'safety speech' and have your prop peace bonded which shows that you agree to follow the rules regarding your prop.  :)

Looks like the Mods have this covered.  Please let me know if you have any questions, and I look forward to seeing your Winry at the con!

Thank you!
