RUMOR PATROL: NDK is not sold out! We planned for sales onsite. Didn't get your badge in time? Buy a weekend badge at the door for $50. In all, 3,341 badges will be available. (4,159 people pre-registered for the weekend).

And FYI, we'll accept credit cards at Registration, Merch and the Charity Auction for the first time this year.

I heard a rumor that parking wasn't going to be free for attendees this year. I know this rumor pops up every year, but (and this sounds so cliche) a friend of a friend said he received some sort of email from the hotel. I think it's bogus, but it'd be nice to know beforehand.

There is in fact a fee to park at the hotel this year, this thread has the details: http://ndkdenver.org/forum/index.php/topic,6230.0.html but it's $5 a day per car, and if you leave you'd have to pay again when you reenter.

see, that's reasonable. My friend said it was gonna be like $40 or something ridiculous like that. Man! I try so hard to keep up with everything, I feel dumb for asking about something that has its own thread ^^;

Boy I love this thread.

My friend insists that no guns of any kind will be allowed on the con floor. I tried explaining to her then brightly colored, obviously fake guns (such as painted nerf guns) would be okay. Can I get a clarifying statement so we can move forward on our (late) cosplay creation?
