Urgh. I'm not gonna be able to get all the pieces I need to perfect Snake. Apparently large M-14 ammo pouches are pretty rare, and the one place I've found that does have them can't ship in time for the con. (not that I have the money anyway) Oh well.

All I have to finish is a set of commissioned armbands for Opinionated Fish (the guy that carries Squishy around), my 18 month old son's costume (It's a secret!) and get some guns for Snake and I should be good to go.

I have to bring Snake! I set up the photoshoot and I'm in Cosplay Chess as Snake.

I'm the kind of person that takes a while to perfect a costume anyway. I don't think I'll ever retire Snake since he's my fave game character of all time. I might switch up the camo patterns though. Maybe one day I'll order some Ga-ko fabric and actually sew a set of BDUs from that. Super secret camo FTW!

Back on topic so that I don't get yelled at...

Just over 1 week until opening ceremonies!

Now that I have actually had some time to myself and was able to sit and work on my costume, I am feeling ready for the con. The excitment that I lost a month ago is coming back to me
