That'd be cool if true, but I doubt any games have officially been announced yet. I'm sure we'll learn more at E3, but it'd surprise me if any more than 2 or 3 third-party games were announced for a system still a year-and-a-half away from launch.

I'm going to call shenanigans on this one. Unless you can provide a link to an official announcement I doubt that Capcom and Namco are going to get together for a crossover game. Especially when the game dynamics are so drastically different between the franchises. Too many variables to work out. Which control style would you use? Tekken of SF? They're completely different. Which game dynamic would you use? 2D or 3D? They're two different worlds that just won't mesh.

As far as which would win? I prefer Tekken myself.

There's both "Tekken x Street Fighter" that uses the Tekken engine, and there's "Street Fighter x Tekken" that uses the Street Fighter engine.

I'm just doubting it's been announced for Wii2. It is coming out for PS3 and 360.

Again, I'll believe it when it's officially announced. It's like saying Tatsunoko vs Capcom is going to come out for 360 and PS3 because they're "higher power full" (?) than the Wii.

I hope you aren't suggesting that the Wii is more powerful than either the 360 or PS3... That said, it has not been announced for the Wii, only PS3, 360, and PC. The producer has said that a 3DS port "should happen", but it's not been officially announced, and the 3DS, with very few exceptions, are not Wiis.

I think he was talking about Wii2/Project Cafe/Stream/Nintendo's-next-thing, which early rumors say is more powerful than PS3 and 360.

Do not put fighting games on the Wii. They're horrible in functioning?! Remember that Castlevania and that DBZ game. Eww :/

Iiii take it you haven't played TvC.

Anyways, the point is, it's not the system that makes or breaks a fighting game. It's the game itself.

I got the feeling they'd introduce Akuma as working alongside Kazuya

I really wants this game to do well, it's something we all thought about since...ever ! I do feel that with all these other SF editions coming out it'll destroy some of the interest. I hope not though

So anyone catch the Sony E3 press conference?

They announced that Street Fighter x Tekken will be on the PS Vita (their new hand held)!

AND one of the fighters will be Cole from "Infamous"!!! That's pretty crazy!

Maybe this game will be announced for Nintendo's new console tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath.

Wii U, as it's now officially called, will have a new Tekken game! That's official! But SFxT for Wii U lookin' pretty bleak now. Still a year and a half away, of course, so who knows? But still, no signs that it will actually happen.
