Will there be a Pokemon tournament this year? I didn't get to do last year's tournament, because I didn't bring my DS =/

I'm the guy who runs the Pokemon Tournaments and I'll tell you that I would have to see a lot of interest before I consider running another Pokemon Tournament. The first year we had one person show up ... The second year had a better turn out, but it's pretty easy to beat one. The big problem is that we can't have two tournaments at the same time, so we would rather fill the slot with a game that will draw a large crowd.

Here's what I'm trying to say: I'd love to run a Pokemon Tournament, but I need to know that there is interest in it or else it's not gonna happen. If you'd like to start a new thread to see if you can generate a following for a 2011 Pokemon Tournament, I'd be fine with it, but I can't promise you anything until I see some results. I know that I am willing to enter the tournament if there is going to be one, So I say please run another one, but I do not want to be the only one there either, so the call is all yours.

Also things I personally would like to see out of this tournament is more rules than anything goes
here is what I think the rules should be:
Items: any
Pokemon: Banned pokemon should be (Aron,
Arceus, Darkrai, Deoxys, Deoxys-A, Deoxys-D, Deoxys-S, Dialga, Garchomp, Genesect, Giratina, Giratina-O, Groudon, Ho-Oh, Keldeo Kyogre, Kyurem, Latias, Latios, Lugia, Manaphy, Meloetta, Mew, Mewtwo, Palkia, Rayquaza, Reshiram, Salamence, Shaymin-S, Wobbuffet, Wynaut, Zekrom) (This is a list of legendary's and a few pokemon that can do umbeatable things)
No repeat pokemon
Level: any

Those rules seem fair and make the tournament fun, and this also allows people to actually make a team, and not have 3 level 100 Darkri's (Yes I am talking about that one guy) but have a team of fair well balanced pokemon.

Yeah, the reason last year's Pokemon Tournament was "Anything Goes" is because the year before that we had rules and only one person showed up with an eligible team.

I understand that but its nice to have some rules so its not the just the person with the most level 100 legendary pokemon wins.  It also makes is nicer for people like me who make a team for actual tournaments.

I'm not sure this is the most correct place to post that question, but I can tell you that a schedule for all games on all systems is forthcoming. I do not know exactly when that list will be posted so watch the forums for updates; and thanks for your interest in the VGR.

The game room was better this year but cold but no street fighter 3 3rd strike for ps3, no tekken 6, no soul calibur 4, but i love seen mario kart double dash, mario kart wii this year and no marvel vs capcom 2 for ps3 i hope to see street fighter X tekken, soul calibur 5, tekken tag tournament 2, ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 & more game to play thanks ndk's game room.
