I believe you're supposed to receive confirmation email (not 100% sure, but fairly positive)

But just to assure you, we got it ;D

If you submitted the form and got a thank-you message, the submission was received.

What is your email address? I've sent out custom Submission Confirmations to every editor for each entry.

I did not either...

Assuming your email is "breannab13@hotmail.com," and that is the only email associated with any editors named Breanna that have submit videos thus far, I would advise you to check your spam folder for an email from DrRadicalYue@gmail.com that is titled "Nan Desu Kan - AMV Submission Confirmation" I can still see it in my sent box for June 15th.

Since I know that there is absolutely nothing in my email, can you resend it? I probably threw it away because I didn't know who you were at the time or didn't see it in the junk folder when I was clearing it out. Sorry for the misunderstanding!

Got it! Thank you! I have put it in the "important stuff" folder to make sure that I don't delete it on accident again!

My email is zach.martinez09395@yahoo.com

I apologize, I was out of state when that was received so I must've skipped it over.

I actually have a question concerning the content rules for the AMV contest... I'm hopefully going to submit a video to the action category assuming I get it finished in time, however the song lyrics do contain at least 1 instance of the f-bomb. The rules I found on decency/rating levels simply said "keep it PG-13," but the only thing it banned specifically was hentai images, which I can safely assure you do not occur within this AMV.

For those of you who know the song, it is "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid" by The Offsprings... the offending chorus in question goes like "now dance, f***er, dance, man I never had a chance" and occurs about 4 times over the course of the song. There is a clean version of the song available, however I've already purchased the explicit version, although I haven't started the editing yet (have to finish my synch chart first). Will leaving the lyrics as is be too offensive? I don't want to reveal too much about the vid, but one of the animes I'm using is Code Geass, which kind of fits with that line, so I'd rather not censor it if I had a choice. But I'll leave it up to the admins on this.

some harsh language is allowed in the amv contest. When it comes to the amount specifically this is up to the judges at the time they make decisions on what goes in and what doesn't. a few occurrences will be allowed, but judges will also remove a video for whatever they deem as excessive.  Best advice is to make the video as you want it made. if it is deemed inappropriate by the judges there are simple audio bleeps that can be added later ( has been done in the past)

Ok, thanks for the info. That particular line is the only time they use coarse language, it's not like they're swearing for swearing's sake it's used very much in context and retains some artistic expression value. But I'll leave the final decision to the judges. I'll go ahead and make the vid as is, maybe I can send it in a week early and if they have an issue I can email them back.

Worse case scenario either I have to edit the song in Audacity or simply download the clean version and swap out the audio.

A geez, me too.  Instead of a thank you screen, the form just seem to refresh after I click submit.  I used Firefox twice and Chrome once.  It should be one with Icyglare@gmail.com, I was wondering if it was received.

I send them out manually after checking each individual entry. Occasionally I get backlogged, but give it two days max and you'll get a confirmation email.

I know that an "AMV Editor" badge will be sent out but if I am able to make and submit another AMV, would I be able to receive another badge?

editor badges will only be sent to qualifying video entrants. Only one badge per editor will be sent, regardless of the number of videos sent.
