Cave Story

Have any of you guys played Cave Story?

I really like it. Easily one of my favorite games of all time, and it was made by only one person.

You guys should try it out. It's a lot like the side scroller metroid games. But it is better and wayy more challenging =]

Oh that game is so much fun. I'm stuck in the pit of hell or whatever that's called though. I'm glad to see someone else knows about it. On a related note, I'm semi-considering cosplaying as Quote for NDK '11

I'm considering cosplaying as Quote, the doctor, or Balrog as cheap side costumes during the years that I cosplay as ezio.

I cant wait for the 3DS remake!

If I did, it wouldn't likely be my main costume. Although, the only thing really holding me back would be the ear/antenna things. The rest would be fairly easy. Balrog would be amusing. I didn't know they were remaking it again. I found out about it from the wiiware demo a few weeks ago. That's pretty cool though.

Yeh i might do Balrog as a side costume for a while. Should be very easy to make.

And the wii and dsi versions are more of ports than remakes.

The 3DS version is a retail remake with much much much much better graphics and a bunch of new areas.

Hmm. I kind of like the low-quality graphics the original has. If I ever get a 3ds though, I'll most likely buy it still.

Yeah. It won't have the same classic feel due to the updated graphics...

but at the same time... it will be amazing.
