I know I am. I pre-ordered it the day it came available at Game Stop, this was before they even knew color or prices. I was thinking of waiting for the second generation to come out, then saw who all was developing games for it during the Nintendo Keynote at E3, and the list was just to great.

Nintendo is very good at taking my money...

Yeah. I'm $69 away from having my 3DS fully paid for. $50 of that will come from trading my ds lite in, and then I'll pay the rest and fully preorder super street fighter 4 since it is the only decent launch game in my opinion.

Who isn't getting one is the better question. I'm 100% getting one, by trading my DSi, and pre-order at gamestop also. Zelda's ocarina remake is a must for me.

Yep. Gonna be an awesome game. Much better than pathetic not-important-to-the-storyline re:coded.

Not too fond of the name of Dream Drop Distance, but it is going to be a very good game in the series. It's going to set up the events for KH3 =]

Just a heads up to everyone getting their Nintendo 3DS, I would strongly encourage getting the one year warranty on this system. This system brings new technology with absolutely no track record of what it may or may not do. Just putting my 2 cents in. My boyfriend is getting one himself for the 3D Legend of Zelda game and I've already told him that it would be smart to get a warranty too. Just suggesting...

Yup, My ex is ALL about the LOZ game for the 3DS. Hope he doesn't start thinking the princess is "Realy there man!" XD hee hee Don't know, but i think that might mess with his brain a little bit further. I would love to get a 3DS but I would wait till a few generations have come out.

I'll get one, but not until a game that I have to have will be released. Otherwise, my DS lite has been pretty good to me, and I don't really see a reason why I should replace it. It's all tiny and cute. D=

I want to get one but with only 2 colors being released it saddens me... I wish they had couple of other colors so my friend and I can customize it with splicing the color scemes together

I don't plan on getting a launch game either. The 3DS has 8 or so games built in to it, and I'll already be focused on pokemon white and final fantasy dissidia duodecim.

But the first game I'll actually be getting for the 3DS is Cave Story 3DS. It's the only launch window game that interests me.

i don't have the patience to wait 3-5 years for a price drop for a completely new nintendo system that already has more good games confirmed for it coming out within the first year than the wii has.

Well P.Pirate there's one reason right there. Also 3D is cheesy as it gets. Just because it's 3D doesn't really boost the entertainment that much.
