I, personally, agree with Keiki on the issue of food.
People who didn't bring something to contribute shouldn't really be eating, that much, anyway. I mean, even you are totally broke, I'm sure people could manage to buy something small that's $3 or less at a store. And I don't know about anyone else, but I could probably find around that many coins in my sofa.
It's not fair for the people who do bring food, nor do I think it would be fair for people to feel compelled to spend more of their own money and bring 2 or more dishes, so that those who don't supply any food for anyone else can have a chance to eat. (Though, granted, if they just did it because they wanted to or were feeling generous then we should nearly crush them with glomps and hugs X3).
