How to get an event posted to the calendar
« on: January 17, 2007, 02:14:57 am »
If anyone knows of an upcoming event, please tell us about it. Post a new topic in this forum with as much information or a link to a website and we will review it. If we think it is good pickings, we will add it to the calendar of events.

This only, sorta, relates, but...

Zara, why is it, do you think, that Cosplay.com doesn't have us on their list of Cons in the USA?

I have no idea. They have a forum section dedicated to us though. I am going to peak in and see what's up. Thanks for the heads up.

Seems they really don't have a good place to contact anyone in charge to bring this to their attention other than the so-called spam forum.

Could you put up the Meet fellow con goers thread dates?

June 30th at 4 at Flatirons mall
July 4th at 11 and it will be at Matthew - Winters Open Space park, bring something to share if you can.
July 7 at 1 at the Mills
July 21 at 1 at Flatirons mall

One of the drawbacks of the system is reoccurring events and linking multiple events to a topic. Beings you guys are running consistent, reoccurring events, I have just given you the ability to post and change you own events. I recommend linking an existing topic to your posting or at least making a single topic for you to link to an event so people can read more about it. Then changing that date on the event for any new ones.

Er, this isn't really supposed to be a thread where you request getting an event added to the schedule. It's mostly just to inform *how* events are added. As such, I'm going to lock it to prevent more such requests.
