I think it would be a lot of fun. I've been to a couple of Ranger dinners before and they were a blast and it inspired me to start a Greedling one.

I think Getting together with other fans of Todd's and having dinner while sharing stories of fandom sounds like good honest fun, but keep in mind that Todd will have a lot going on during the convention and may not have the ability to attend.

So in order to save yourselves the heart break, don't base the event on him showing up.

I'm aware of that. I know how busy con guests can be. But it's always good to try, because whether or not he comes, it's still a great opportunity to bring Todd's fans together.
I've been to a few Ranger meet-ups at cons Vic wasn't at and they were still a blast.

Also, for anyone who has had experience holding a Ranger dinner/gathering, if you'd like to give me some insight, feel free to PM me. This would be my first time holding one of these events and some advice would definitely help.
