Otaku In your city.
« on: January 01, 2011, 04:14:54 am »
Hey guys!

Working with COAR one question constantly comes to thought, so I thought I would figure it out, Where all the Otaku in Colorado are.  (If you aren't in Colorado, No hard feelings, it's just COAR is not based in where you are.)

I personally am in Thornton, And COAR is based in Denver.

So where are you (City)  and were do most of your activities take place?

Denver, and my anime activites used to take place at the old Gimme Anime store in Aurora(unfortunately, the anime club I belonged to fell apart). Now, I mainly watch anime at home, and I go to 2 anime conventions right now: Nan Desu Kon and Animeland Wasabi.

Colorado Springs here.  We really don't have any official anime events like conventions, just a few scattered clubs and the occasional meetup.

Longmont here.  We do have a few clubs~ but I find them to be a waste of time.

Most activities that I find worhth going to are located in Denver or Thornton,
Such as NDK, ALW, NDK NYEB, and various other meet-ups.

Denver here. All the usual stuff happens, meet-ups, NDK, ALW. Starfest, NDKNYEB. There are no anime clubs that I am aware of.

Guess I get to be the first shoutout from the north here.  :D

Fort Collins, and I know most of the activities I've been a part of have been on the CSU campus. Ramnime meets there, as well as holds events.

Other than that, my otaku heart lives on S Syracuse in Denver. :)

Belmar area (in Lakewood)

There's a bunch in Lakewood in general, but it's a pretty big city :P.
If you don't know what to make your signature, make this your signature. People might get mad when they read it though. I mean, all you're really doing is blathering on about nothing and taking up time that they could be using doing something productive like posting.

And if you noticed I live at Fox Ridge Farms out near DIA, so if you noticed, no fans whatsoever unless you count the twitards that play around the park

Please stay on topic.  This really has nothing to do with "otaku in your city".

Thanks you.

lol...well...considering we might be moving in April, not so sure....I know we have teens in the area that say that they are into anime fans, but they are SOOOOOOOOO NOT. I'm sorry, I don't count popular stuff like Naruto (Dubbed) or Bleach (Dubbed) as part of being in the fandom

Oh, I did think of something, me and Lee go to a gaming place during the night of Thursdays for D&D and watching anime at their place in Littleton....we call our meetup the Meeting of the Infamous Four, considering I'm the only girl and the rest of four guys, plus my fiance now which we should rename it Meeting of the Infamous Five
