Seriously, I live at Fox Ridge Farms which is a trailer park out in the middle of nowhere near DIA and there are like NO ANIME fans AT ALL....I'm getting frustrated, because Lee says we can't go to meets and stuff in town because of  like as. So I'm considering my options, 1. Second Life, 2. Give up and just watch it alone and get made fun of by my fiance's mother's idiot football loving boyfriend (I HATE FOOTBALL), or 3. Knock on every door in the area and find the anime fans....I'm going nuts.
I know how that is lol i feel the same way no one around where i live likes anime and im like what because thats all i do is watch anime, read mangas, draw anime, oh yea and make Amvs lol

Of course, there is one solution that hasn't been addressed here, broaden your horizons.

I'm not saying give up what you love, but it would probably help you cope.

Well...there are several things Lee and I have considered, we are driving to fur meets outside of the area and also maintain some privacy from the neighbors. We have told some neighbors that we are usually busy between Tuesdays and Wednesdays due to D&D and also we are not at home from 4 pm to 1 am considering my job

I don't know if you know her, but Hyura lives up by DIA. I can't remember the street she's off of (I just know which exit to turn off of when I see it XP) but I don't think she's too far? Perhaps getting in contact with her might help? Her and her boyfriend (and I think a couple -- if not all -- her roommates) are anime fans as well~

I live in Aurora (about 20 min drive??) and could possibly bus to that area if you ever wanted a casual meet up/hang out~ And depending on your situation, perhaps you can bus too? I dunno..^^; Just throwing that out there. I ALWAYS love to meet new people~ ^^ Especially those with common interests eheheh~!

With my new job at Walmart, I don't' get off work until 1 am and I have D&D on certain days of the week.

I have to pull a lot of teeth to get time off at all...but at least they are open. I am trying to figure out hte meetup schedules.

Neo -- Yeah. I don't feel comfortable giving out too much info without my friend's approving. So if Nagi (or anyone) wanted to contact her on their own, that's totally fine. ^^; Just thought I would point out that there are a couple anime fans near DIA.

Nagi -- I wasn't just talking about cosplay meet-ups. I meant as a general hang out between a small group to get to know each other. Doesn't have to be a big group putting together times and places that will fit everyone and anyone's needs. But maybe a handful of people willing to meet you half way or try to get to that side of town...?

I was just suggesting google maps so you could see if your friends are indeed near Nagi's area. Whether or not you share that info is up to you. *has chronic helpfulness disorder*

I figured out how to deal with this problem straight on, thank you Arapahoe County Library. I basically found out that there is some kind of anime club there, but considering its timing couldn't be worse, its on the same days I work.

Considering other factors, Lee and I are trying to find a new place considering that our roommate is some kind of 50 year old fart who is basically running the house like a dictator, he got on me for working till 1 am and also making it impossible to enter the house at the time. I think he is trying to basically make living here so unpleasant that he is making us want to move out.
