I have an idea, to be honest, I am thinking of trying to start a group called the Badge Collectors Group and see if we can meet sometime online or offline to see if we can start doing what RMFC has, its called a Badge Round Up, basically people set up orders for badges. We can work with pricing and stuff with the people we are working with and also work on it. Its just an idea, but we need to keep this fun hobby going.

I am open to the ideas, I will see if we can start a meetup sometime next year or sometime even during Animeland Wasabi to see if we can trade badges. I am more then interested in starting something fun like this up. I would love to show off my badges that I have both made and collected over the years.

Oh yeah, heads up to everyone, I am going to start the fan badges for Animeland Wasabi and RMFC early this time, I am starting to take orders at the end of December. Though I have to say this, if anyone from NDK staff wants a fan badge, they do have to PM me starting at least Jan. 4th to get a list of who wants what, sorry to bring it up now.

Also if people are going to Animeland Wasabi, if you look at Rip van Winkle's Vampires Den page, I will have information up soon.

I am going to have to do some scans of what I have so far, at the current moment, i have a badge that is made for a certain Candy Ninja, but so far, since we have fallen from talking, it is best not to go there. In any case, this year, I am hoping to get more badges made. NDK staff though do get some deals because well...they work hard and they deserve a little treat.

So for NDK staff who have attended more than 5 years get a special one of a kind badge, ^_^, I just wish I had a scanner to scan it, it was something that I worked on for a long time.

 I can't believe there are others who collects their con badges.  Yet that in itself shouldn't be a surprise!  Anyway, I collect my con badges too! I just moved recently and given how our badges now doesn't have the  year on them anymore...I believe I lost one (can anyone show me 2005 Saturaday badge?) and cannot figure out one (below).

After this years NDK I actually have more then one badge ^_^  And I also got a cool lanyard and other accesories to go with my badge collection.  i have '09s badge and '10s badge including this years press badge.  ^_^  I am so proud of my self.

I think have a few of my badges from NDKs past... don't know where they are now, and I was only able to find the one for 1998 and this year's... definitely keeping my badge from next year's, though.

Really not that much of a surprise as fans will collect just about anything. Unfortunately, I can't help on ID'ing the 2005 Saturday badge as I tend to get the full weekend badges. A couple of years ago, I had to move to another lanyard as I have too many for just one. But, then, I collect badges that you find in artist's alley as well. Some of my favorites are from Robert DeJesus. My two favs from him were the "Gothic Lolita" and "Tentacle Monster" badges. ;)
