Okay, to be honest.. NDK 2010 wasn't the best for me.  My camera went missing and Saturday there was drama that left me a sobbing wreck.  

That said, I would now like to focus on the good! ♥

I got to chat with a cosplay.com penpal Melissa who I adore, EBK is always cool to see around. First on my list: RaeWolfDemon for hanging out with me Thursday evening and off and on Friday and helping to cordinate our disorganized school KH shoot. Also for manning the Halloween Town shoot untill I could get there after the costume contest. You totally rock! I have to say you turned a Sora fangirl into a Riku fangirl for the weekend.  

RaeWolfDemon, Axis, Lightane, RoxasLover123, and everyone involved in both the school and Halloween Town photoshoots: you guys just totally made this the best con ever. You are some of the best KH cosplayers I have seen and I can't believe you guys waited for me even though I was almost 45minutes late to the Halloween Town shoot. After being glared at (in my School Girl Kairi cosplay) by a Sora and Riku, you guys were such a breath of fresh air and never once made me feel like I didn't belong.  Axis, your Halloween Town Axel freaked the living crap out of me. It was so awsome!!!!!! All of your costumes were awsome and I hope I get to costume with you guys in the future.  

Katie: For showing up the Princess photo shoot in your Ariel even though everyone else had to bail. I know my friend (Mulan) was very greateful as well and absolutly loved your cosplay. Here's hoping we can revive it next year.

To everyone who took pics of me this weekend, thank you. Considering the fact I got in a huge fight with my friend two days before con, had to litteraly beg her to come, and had to figure out how to survive a single day on my own with no friend to enjoy it with, this con actually became the best one ever and I hope it only gets better.

The Akatsuki group I hung out with most of the convention.  I love you guys so much (I don't know if any of you are on the forums or not), and you kept me from being bored and lonely the entire convention.

That and I think on Saturday I was dressed as Fate (from Nanoha) and I ran into someone who had some sort of Fate cuddle pillow. I don't know what he thought, but I found the situation hilarious.

The various members of the Rogues Gallery for making me glad I cosplayed Batman.

The Robin that I met on Saturday for letting me tag along during the evening when I couldn't get into the Funimation panel, the game room was closed, and there was nothing to do 'til karaoke time.  Even if I was more his sidekick than the other way around, a Caped Crusader couldn't ask for a cooler Boy Wonder.

The karaoke audience for the warm applause and high-fives after my song.

And last but not least, the staff in charge of the water coolers for making sure nobody dies of dehydration~

To Minnie and Aura: It was so, so nice to hang out with you two. I'm sorry there was so little time to do it, what with the crazy schedule and missing each other and augh, but it was still really cool. Thanks!

To Mr. Ng: Thank you for taking the time to take pictures of me, Minnie and Aura. It was so fun, I completely forgot I hate having my picture taken. I wish I'd remembered to put concealer on my lips, but I bet I'll look okay anyway thanks to ya.

To Chris Patton: Holy c--p, I didn't think you'd single me out! Thank you very much for taking the time to answer so many questions. We'll miss ya, but we wish ya well in everything. (I hope Blake Shepard's sister gets well soon, too!)

I had very minor lows here and there this year but most of all it was all epic. Here's some people I like to recognize for making NDK this year awesome.

-Rebecca and Ashara for rooming with me and being great roomies this year. We should do it again next year.

-Bezarius, Rhianna, and Alu-chan for chatting it up with me here and there at the con and we must do pancake house at some point!

-All the awesome Hetalia cosplayers I met who made me doing America real special such as Adrianne (one of the americas), Charlotte (one of the italy's), Emily (france), Amy (the adorable russia), Jordan, the always awesome America who inspired me to do America and the many englands who put up with me being Alfred. And Mara for organizing the Mcdonalds lunch. And most importantly kudos to a new friend I made Shika, for hanging with me as America and Iggy. We need to hang out more England!

The girl I sat next to during the Yaoi/Yuri/Het panel. I was suffering from con overload and was a little depressed, and she cheered me up a bit.

The guy... Fred, I think it was... who also cheered me up as I was storming from the Marriot, still suffering from con overload, and also invited me to the Bleach cosplay photoshoot, where he cosplayed as Renji.

My girlfriend, who put up with my constant b----ing during my bout of con overload.  I love you!

Everyone who complimented me on my Zangetsu. My dad and I worked hard on it, and it really turned out well.

The guys at Ops that not only helped me find my cellphone, but also peace-bonded Zangetsu. I was worried it was going to be too big.

Ryoko-san and the rest of the guys from Echostream who signed my Code Geass messenger bag. Especially the guitarist. He liked Zangetsu.

My cousin Shilo who came to the con and hung out with me for a bit.

My aunt Yuriko-san who consented to drive Shilo to the con, and also complemented my cosplay.

Everyone who joined in the Bleach photoshoot, including the organizer who cosplayed as Hollow Ichigo (no you may not take me over) and the Orihime cosplayer who hugged me during the photoshoot (beware, my girlfriend wants your head on a platter.)

The hotel staff at the Marriot, Hilton Gardens, and Hyatt who put up with us all all weekend.

The guys at Wendy's who also put up with us all this weekend, although they were close to kicking us out. I personally did not condone the behavior that caused the collapse of the handrail, but it was an accident and I apologize on behalf of my fellow con-goers.

The staff at NDK. You guys rock!

The artists, especially the ones at NativeEye that made that awesome steampunk puff heart necklace. I gave it to my girlfriend and she loved it.

And finally, the people who did not complain or b---- me out when I accidentally knocked them upside the head with Zangetsu. Sorry, it's pretty big!

I'm certainly not the only person involved with making NDK possible, though. We have more than 200 people on staff that work tirelessly throughout the con (and many also work throughout the year) to make NDK happen. It's without THEM that NDK wouldn't be possible. Without me, only part of the con wouldn't happen.

I would like to thank the following people:

• The attendees. Especially those of you that have shared such kind words about our staff members. It's because of you that we do all this work and without you, we'd have no reason to do any of it. (And receiving thanks just makes us love doing it that much more!)
• The staff. Totally. Like I said, nothing could get done without them. I won't even try to list all the things they do throughout the weekend because, well, I doubt the forum could handle a post that long.
• The hotel staff. They do a lot more than most attendees realize. For every hotel staffer you see, there are usually several more working behind the scenes to help us and attendees make the most out of our stay at the Marriott. Most of them worked all day long every day during NDK. (We're talking 12-hour days three days in a row for a lot of people!)
• The guests. Seriously, how cool were the guests this year? What a fantastic group of people! I had the pleasure of meeting many of them (alas, not all of them... too busy!) and they were wonderful people. They were funny, charming, entertaining, and kind--and not just in public.

I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of people, but my brain is still a little fried and it's late. But so many people made this year's con a fantastic and memorable experience for me that it's hard to remember them all off the top of my head.
