Endings in Anime

Have you ever watched an anime series, got to the end, and said, "THAT'S IT?!"  Have you seen an anime that started of average but you were glad you stuck around for the whole thing?  Come to my panel, "Endings in Anime," and you can join in in a full discussion to discuss your favorite and least favorite endings.  Endings in Anime will be on Friday night at 11:30PM in Humboldt Peak. 

I'll be the host in which we will discuss the various ending types found in anime (or as I call them, filler, conclusive, and open) along with seeing clips from it.  Of course, the panel will be full of spoilers, so please be advised we might talk about a series you have not seen the ending to (unless it is FMA Brotherhood, for I am going to try to avoid everything on that one myself since I have not seen anything past Volume 1). 

As for the clips shown, the plan is to have clips from several series, such as Cowboy Bebop, Gankutsuou, Hellsing (1st), Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters, RahXephon, Big O, and Inuyasha.  Also, I will be comparing the endings to both Golion and Voltron (season 1 of Lion).

I have a question about this panel. Why is it 18+ only?

Because one of the endings I'll be showing is Berserk's, which in case you haven't seen the series, there is a rape scene at the end.  Plus, putting it as 18+ was the only way I could guarantee it would be in the evening and not during an autograph session I want to go to.

I just wanted to say thanks to those who attended the panel, as it seemed like everyone had a blast.  I will admit though, I did not expect there to be that many people to the point that some had to be turned away.  Nevertheless, it was fun doing it and I plan to do it again next year.  In fact, I am also thinking about maybe doing a Voltron vs Golion vs Dairugger XV since a lot of people seemed to be shocked at how different the endings were between Voltron Season 1 and Golion. 

For those who did attend, I do have a question.  Do you feel any of the endings I showed are not worth reshowing in the next one?  It seemed like people were pretty much bored with the Inuyasha ending (as was I).
