Yeah, it would be good to know when the reservations for the Marriott will open through the site. Also, I was wondering whether the male Vampire Knight costumes would be formal enough? The ladies in my group were contemplating wearing Yuki's ballgowns from the manga, but I don't know whether there are any equivalent cosplays for the guys other than the school uniforms. :/

Reservations will be available as soon as the Marriott sends us the link for the reservation site. But you don't need to pay for the room when you reserve it, so you'll need the money on January 1 (when you check out).

We're still finalizing the rules on what counts as semi-formal, so we won't be answering any of these sorts of questions just yet. Please give us a bit of time to finish working out these details; we were busy with NDK planning and clean-up, so we haven't had a chance to hit our stride on NYE just yet. We'll give you as much time as possible, though.

I would say so its only semi formal and that looks pretty formal lol. Its got a tie, dress pants and jacket which is whats required.

me and landstander wore those last year, to me it fits the requirements. It's a full three piece suit after all

Room reservations will be open until December 10. If you don't reserve a room by that date, you won't be able to get a room at all. Reservations cost nothing, so be sure to reserve your room as soon as possible.

(Note: All rooms are on the tower side of the hotel; atrium balcony rooms are not available.)
