The annual NDK weather report

NDK 2010 is right around the corner and as usual the weather always comes into play during con weekend when planning shoots or going outside the hotel in general and traveling to and from the hotel. This is where this thread came in every NDK since 2008 and this year is no different.

So in a attempt to play weather man, when NDK day gets close, this will be the thread to see everything that is related to the weather for this years NDK and I got a prediction that this year we may break the so called "NDK curse".

So if you got things related to the weather for NDK (please, post like week before NDK) post them all here.

Hello, I will play weatherman, serendipitously thinking about this earlier today, but of course it is too soon now, though this year, I am just going to make one post and edit it as it gets closer to the convention, to save on the the general length of the post, and not to make this pages impossible to load after awhile.  So stay tuned for that as we get closer to the convention ^_^ (weather reports probably starting about 10 days away)

Smart thing to do Masurao.

The NDK curse is one day out of the 3 days of the con it typically rains. We'll be hoping for better weather for all 3 this year.

So starting 10 days into NDK you'll be seeing weather reports.

Thanks WafflezelffaW, I am using it, in fact it is my new signature image, I made some modifications to it to make it fit a forum banner better, but the full image, shrunk down will be used for the first weather report in few days

I actually got the first report on the weather from accuweather.com. According to them we'll be getting a bit of a cold front all 3 days of NDK with temps in the 70s and rain possible all 3 especially on Sunday.

If all goes well I should have the first weather report up tomorrow ^_^, it should be up around 9-ish, because I am going to do it right before i leave for school

I remember at NDK '09 it rained on Saturday. Luckily it was later in the day, so I think photoshoots were all good, but it still rained. Gotta hope for better weather!

I hope for better weather too. Last year when it rained it made everything all soggy and muddy and my costume consisted of a lot of white! >.< My white shoes were filthy by the end of sunday

I got some great news so far. According to my sources, seems we'll be seeing some pretty excellent weather Kan weekend. According to weather channel and accuweather.com we'll be seeing weather in the low 80s all 3 days and sunny too.

Good news thus far. Hope it stays that way going into NDK next week.

Saturday is looking like an awesome weather day, so I am happy for all the people who have photo shoots, but keep checking back, because remember this is Colorado, and the weather is always changing.

Yup, it rained on saturday last year. It was kind of a cold, miserable day outside. It was for me anyway lol

No need to feel stupid. lol. Theres a lot going on over NDK weekend so not noticing things is easy. But yes! Let us hope for sunnier and warmer weather this time around!

On Saturday, I didn't even know it had rained until we went back over to the Marriott. ._.

Its no fun using your prop as an umbrella XD  It really snuck up on us last year!
