Meetup disscussion for Halloween Town and School Kingdom Hearts group

If we are worried about not changing in time...how bout lets say like a half hour or so after the end of the costume contest? That way we can all reapply our makeup and stuff.

I'm asuming about three hours for the contest so we could do 10pm then this should give everyone enough time.  I'm basically gonna be putting everything in my pouch and painting my nails red while I wait for the results of the contest so that will put me ahead. We could do outside the revolving doors to wait if that's better for everyone. I'm flexible.

I think axis mentioned that cuz of her wings, and the fact that they are like HUGE, though you should wear them more than just the photoshoot XD..like I said im flexible too..though.. wasnt the cospaly contest earlier last year? annny way.. as for being on topic 10pm sounds great to me n.n

I'll try to wear them more, just gotta see 1. how much they weigh after finishing them, and 2. how easy it is to move around in a crowded area without stabbing someone in the eye with them... that wouldnt be a good thing o.o
The weight shouldnt be an issue. The tutorial im using said theyd be around 15 pounds, which sadly is how much my school backpack weighs (actually probably more....), and i lug that thing around all day.
Not sure if people are up for it, but one of the days we should just get together and order pizza, or just go out for lunch somewhere near. Think it would be fun ((: I would love to do a picnic for the school photoshoot, but i dont think most people could do that. Maybe some get together outside the con we could do that...

Agree on the photoshoot thing..I was also thinking of a kh pajama party at con and thus the pizza thing..I'd also can drive anywhere really for a photoshoot outside of con, but I think we can make Friday work..I mean our group is small ish

I was thinking if we can make an outdoor shoot work at con I could whip up a batch of sea salt ice cream for us.  It was a huge hit at the cosplay picnic and I think all 20 ice cream bars were gone in about 20 minutes. I just remember waiting forever for people to try them, then seeing someone with one and then it was like piranas and they were gone faster than I could blink.  I will only make them for outside consumption 'cause ice cream is messy and well, I don't want the hotel to have a fit.      

Axis- you may have a problem with the hall costume rules if your wings are wider than what people would consider "personal space" cause I think the hall rules are nothing more than 3 feet so, they may have to be for the photoshoot only.

Sadly I think going straight back is worse 'cause you have no clue where they end.  I had three foot Cardcaptor Sakura wings that whent straight back and I ended up hitting no less then a dozen people on my way from the green room untill the whole contest was over.  Needless to say everyone new to give the girl in the white dress with pink wings a lot of room.  I suppose you could pm Katie with a pic once they're done and ask her opinion on them, but I wouldn't tempt fate either way.

Sea salt ice cream for our shoot it is.    So much better than it sounds.

before we get in trouble, im mentally moving this topic to the other thread as it is this discussion is moving more towards cosplay discussion and not meet up discussion as for the meet up times Lets go ahead and announce the HT photoshoot meetup time and have it be outstide the revolving doors, then we will move to the shoot site. And as for the school group we can take care of that at a later date when we all have a better idea of who is going to get to ndk and when we will all be able to meet up.

haha 10 pm sounds great to me i'll prolly be in my HT Zexion by 8 or 9ish. perhaps even before (considering i'm wearing heels for the cosplay before Dx) and i really hope we have good weather that night. those pictures would have some serious potential! holy cows.

as for school group i'm going to be in that cosplay basically all friday. (might change into me for the pm) so whenever we all are at the con we'll just find each other xD

yup thats for sure on the Halloween Town. tho i think some of us will be dressed earlier.

as for school group i'm not sure. i'm just planning on being School Zexy practically all day Friday since it's more like a half day for me.

im going to be there all friday with Marly, but i dont know if were doing the shoot friday or saturday. Oh well, ill have my phone on my so just text or call me, and ill try to get internet, hopefully they have wifi at the hotel
