Greg Hines:
All forum members utilizing the Marketplace should exercise caution and discretion when selling, buying, or trading items or services. Nan Desu Kan makes no guarantees that transactions will be resolved to the satisfaction of all parties. NDK has no legal authority over--and accepts no responsibility for--the trading activity in the Marketplace.

Neither NDK nor its moderators will mediate or attempt to resolve disputes between forum members. It is the responsibility of the parties involved to resolve disputes on their own, in private. Please use e-mail or the forum's personal message system to resolve disputes. Posts about trading conflicts will be deleted on sight.

If, after all efforts of resolving a dispute have failed, send an e-mail to mods@ndkdenver.org describing the situation. NDK's moderators will log all such messages and determine whether actions needs to be taken. Depending on the issue, such action may include a warning, a ban from the Marketplace, or a ban from the forum as a whole.

Confirmed abuse of the Marketplace will result in a ban from the forum as a whole.

Guidelines

In addition to the above policy, here are a few guidelines to make The Marketplace function a bit more smoothly.  Thanks for being considerate to your fellow forum members.

* Keep an eye on things.
Please be considerate of your fellow forum-members, when you post something here.   Be sure to check back periodically to make sure you're keeping up with the thread.  We reserve the right to lock threads that seem to have died (no activity in more than 60 days).

* Let us know when it's gone.
If you're offering something, edit your post to note when items are no longer available (whether you sell them here, or elsewhere).  Just mark them SOLD or the like, don't delete them.

* New threads are cheap.
If you want to add an item or two to your list, go ahead and add them in your existing thread.  If you have a bunch of new items and an old thread (especially a "dead" one), please start a new thread with the new items.  You can put a pointer in your old thread to your new one.

* Be conservative editing your posts
Please mark things that you've sold (or which are otherwise not available), but per rule 11, don't go and remove the item.

* Keep it family friendly
Please don't offer 18+ items for sale here.  What you sell here should be appropriate subject-matter for the forum.

And, as always, the NDK Forum Rules and Guidelines apply here as well.
