We need ideas for the Pokemon Tournament. That's IF you guys even want one this year.

I would love to see a Gears of War 2 tournament, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Rock Band, and but of course, DDR...

I've been talking to Magus regarding a Pokemon tournament. We'll see what comes of it.

Well if a SEGA Genesis gets set up as one of the classic systems I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see Altered Beast in there. That would just make my whole convention. haha

I know this is a little dorky but if a gamecube is set up I would love to play a mario party game. One of the newer ones like #6 and up.

I like Wario Ware Smooth Moves. xD

There's also this cool wii dancing game... It's called Just Dance and I love it. It's sort of hard but it's really fun. Idk how likely it is but I thought I'd put my two cents in.

By the way, what were the rules of brawl last year? I was devastated to find out that I had missed the tourny because I was getting into and watching the rockband tournement.

It was pretty much single-elem self-made teams. Each team got a token. Odd numbered tokens played in their own bracket, even number tokens played in their own. Played until one team remains from each even/odd number bracket. They play each other in the finals.

I believe matches before finals were first to 1 or 2 with 3 stock. Finals was first to 3, IIRC, and may have had more lives. It's all a blur now hahahaha! Still, it was the first Smash tournament for NDK that I really enjoyed. Not because we got 2nd or nothing, but because teams, to me, are a LOT more fun in Brawl than Singles or FFAs-tournament style.

For me its shooters. I loved how you guys had Radiant Silvergun last year. Anything along those lines would be great.

I saw a mini BlazBlue tournament at A/X and it was incredible

I'm all for BlazeBlue Continuum Shift; I have the game, and would be willing to bring it down with me for some hands on game time (I don't expect to spend a lot of time in the video game room though) I can also bring the Board Game Settlers of Catan for even more nerdtastic fun for the boardgame room (unless there are rules against this kind of activity)
