Fight Stick Poll

There was some contention over the Fight Stick last year.  We now leave it to you, the attendees, to assert your will.

Well I completely missed this poll but eh.  Assertion time, regardless.

This is kind of a trick question, for me.  I assume you're talking about the Two-Player X-Arcade sticks.  They were real bad quality-wise, and the fact that if someone didn't know how to play on stick then your own hand would be violently moving around like a 12 on the Richter.  And no one had options, as far as I recall, on if they wanted to use the controller instead or not.

If there were single, more quality sticks then I'd say yes, I'd want some sticks back to play with.  Even the Street Fighter IV FightSticks would be better, and FAR cheaper.  If I'm stuck with the X-Arcade, it's a lose-lose situation for me and many of the other stick players in the community.  It was pretty bad when a lot of the guys who have never been to NDK came in with their sticks, and was told they had to use the X-Arcade/X360 controllers.

I know it's your all's rule but I've been around to a few cons and none of them have qualms against bringing in personal controllers/sticks.  Even another Colorado con which I felt had an extremely awesome game room with good systems in place by Colorado Cutthroat crew.  These other cons just makes y'alls rules seem old-hat.  I can understand the reason, I just hope that one day that'll be re-planned out.

The X-Arcade dual stick will not be making an appearance in this year's VGR.

And unfortunately we don't allow outside equipment due to liability issues.

However, and I'm not making any promises at this point, but we are looking into having some other sticks on hand...
