Scale sized Keyblades
« on: March 19, 2010, 10:40:17 pm »
I have been making sets of scale sized keyblades (aprox. 6"x1 1/2") for the last four years. I have sold a partial set and a complete set from the first Kingdom Hearts and will be selling a complete set from Kingdom Hearts II at the art show this year. I have been toying with the idea of selling individual blades and was wondering if this would be something people would be interested in or if this would cross a coyright line or something.  I have to work out the logistics so, it would be several months down the road and possibly not untill next year. I just figured I would throw this out there and see what people think. They are made of clay and hand painted so no two would ever be alike.  I usually do pretty well at the art show with them, but unfortunetly have to sell them at a high price in order to break even. This way more people could aford them.  I'll post a link to my photo album and you can see for yourself what I am talking about.  http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y256/Tahiri_Solo/Fanart/Hand%20made%20art/

What?! No Oathkeeper or Oblivion? Well, I don't know if you wouldn't be able to sell since they are fan made, but I don't have final say on that. I would however, be interested in buying the kingdom key keyblade if you are going to be allowed to sell them at NDK 2010.

I know I got the whole set done and was getting ready to put them in the shadow box then looked over my list and did a face plant. I couldn't believe I had left those two out. I'm currently carving on them so, they will be included in the set. I don't have a table and am planning the entire set for the art show, (I've sold sets there before so I know it's fine for that I'm just not sure about mass production) but I am trying to figure out how to sell the individual ones. I'm currently working on a myspace page and learning how completly computer illiterate I am.  I'm thinking of trying for a table next year so, we'll see.

Thanks Lunara.  :D

These would be more like collectable keyblades. Sorta like minature Master Replica weapons. They are made of clay and about the size of a large bookmark.  Michales and Hobby Lobby have small shadow boxes that would accomodate one of them for display purposes.  I've gotten such a good response on my sets I figured I'd see if there was any intrest in individual ones before I go to the trouble of making a bunch.  My last two sets litteraly sold within 30mins of the art show openeing.
