Are you lonely without any cosplay or otaku friends in your life? Or do you want to expand your friendship's with other otaku and cosplayers? Then this topic is l4justice approved for meeting new Cosplay and Otaku (xD)

Anyways, seeing as so many don't seem to have cosplaying or otaku friends, I thought it'd be pretty cool just to get a meetup so people can meet some others and make some friendships and not feel like your the only person in the universe that likes what you like. So let's brainstorm some ideas on where we could go, what we could do, and other stuff. I'm thinking maybe going to some place not too big and just having some fun, joking around and getting to know each other. (Maybe like a cold stone or something like that) So post your ideas. Once we got the place, we'll decide the date.

~ Date: March 27th, 2010
~ Time: 12 p.m to about 3 - 4
~ Whereabouts: Coldstone in Castle Rock; Bison Park in Castle Rock (I cannot do any pick ups sadly, nor can my mom do drives to the park more then one or two people. I'll try to give best directions to Bison Park, and there are signs. You can also look it up)
~ Cosplay: Optional
~ Agenda: Eat some ice cream and hang/talk, then work off energy/take pics (for those that do want to do cosplay) at the park.

yeah, coffee or icecream is always good. perferably somewhere near an open space, like a park, so we can run around and get our stupidity out without getting in as much trouble

Hmmm. Anyone got any spots that would be easy 2 get 2 a coldstone with a park around? I know a coldstone here in Castle Rock and ther's a park like 5 mins away, so that could work. But that may be too far of a treck for some, so give any ideas u hav

Haha castle rock is pretty far from where I am. I don't think I'd be able to go unless it was an all day sorta thing

We could do an all day sorta thing. But I'd rather get it in a spot that tons of people can join in. I'd hate to see someone left out because of how far away it might be... So, any location spots, post here and we'll see if they can work with everyone.

As long as its weekend, its all good with me. I can go anywhere in Denver area pretty much. Castle Rock is even closer though for me, so I'd like that.

Let's try and do it in Castle Rock then. But I'd like to wait for the weather to get better so I don't freeze my ass off xD

So, here's what we've got so far. Tell me if you'd like to change anything in the following list:

Place: Coldstone in Castle Rock, by Gamestop and Target. Then Paintbrush Park in Meadows, Castle Rock.
When: Undecided
Agenda: Get some ice cream, talk, then head to the park about 5 mins away.
Length: 11 - 4 or 5
Date: TBA

another game that doesnt get into trouble is *clears throat* SHOPPING MADNESS!!!!!!

basically we split into teams and run around the store and collect X amount of items and return to a meeting point, when all have assembled exchange baskets and try to put all the stuff back where it goes, the first team to do this wins!!!

its a hit with my friends and i in college since we have no money ;3

Because me and My cousins in ND know the head graveyard shift manager at there wal-mart we would have drag races with the power-chairs... Also with shopping cart having like a demolish derby as we where shopping... He didn't care because it was 3am and no one else except the employees where there.

lol dude! thats amazing! i always do stuff like that then have to sprint out faster than the security

Usually tricycle/bike jousting with umbrellas, "letting the balls free", dodgeball in the produce section, trying to fit into the example tents, throwing horrible things in carts (ex:diapers in an old mans cart, bras in a fat mans cart), and so on >w>
wish i had a friend who actually worked there though, so it wasnt so....rushed xD
