Yes we ran it for 3 years in a row and decided to retire it because we had trouble coming up with new survey questions actually. The first year it was anime clubs but the last 2 years we just assembled teams from the audience. If somebody else wants to take it up again please feel free.
LOL well I currently have over 100 possible questions so I think I have enough to get through this year... and a few more if I decide I like running Game Events.
would there be any cost for playing the game? Cause i isht poor too.... and I would love to play if it ends up being cool with ma.
I wouldn't ask anyone to pay for playing (As long as no one asks for cash prizes ^_~)
Getting contestants it as easy as just picking random people from those who show up.
Picking audience members who show up.. so simple... so easy... so worry free.
I Like It!
As for the prize question. There are lots of things you could do a on a budget pretty cheap. You could print up small certificates have them lamented and the winners get these. Long ago that is what was given to winners for the Cosplay at NDK and they were very nice looking and done homemade. I think most people would just love the chance to get up and play the game prize or no prize.
Good to know there are people who would want to play just to play. (I'm running it because I keep hearing about how great the games <Anime Jeopardy and You Don't Know Jack about Anime> were at NDK but the two times I've attended there hasn't been any.) I'm excited to try my hand at picking up the torch for an Anime Feud game!
I was planning on making certificates for the winners and awarding winners and hopefully others with Pocky, but my friend keeps getting on me about not having prizes. So I was getting worried how others would view there not being formal awards or prizes. I want to make this very much audience participation, but when I mentioned it to her she was like you can't to that unless you're going to award all the audience people with prizes *Sweatdrops*
Thanks for letting me know prizes don't mean as much as making it fun for everyone!
