during the contest, are you also aloud to say something out loud?
i doubt i would, just wanna know the option

D'oh how did I miss this. Sakura is right you have 45 seconds onstage and there are mics at the front of the stage which if you're going to say something you should take advantage of these!

what level do i enter if i won an award over at ALW and i was a novice.
plus ill be wearing this suit : http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn285/Illusion-TheMagician/Pokemon/Arceus-legendary-pokemon-8519103-10.jpg
and yes ill be on all fours just like the picture.

That depends on what type of award you won
If you won best in show you should be in the master category.
If you won a placement award (1st or 2nd place, ect.) in the novice category or a judges award then you should sign up for intermediate.

Hmm, I just looked up the awards they gave out and it looks like its none of the ones I mentioned. In that case I'd say enter in beginner and if the judges feel you need to be bumped up to intermediate they'll do so.

What about multiple people with the same costume?  Like, if 5 Clouds entered?  Then it's cool?

We've had several people enter as the same character before. Sometimes they enter at the same level, sometimes different levels. Thats ok!

Is that what you were asking about? Or did I interpret your question wrong?

Actually you're not suppose to send an email. August 15th @ noon Denver time, is when sign up starts and there will be forms that get posted to the website (on the 15th), here is where you should look for them: http://ndkdenver.org/activities/cosplay

There is usually an announcement that goes on the main page about CC signups as well and it should have a link to the forms.

If you haven't done so yet please read the rules, as information about when and how to sign up are in there. They are located here:
http://ndkdenver.org/activities/cosplay/contest-rules

It should also be noted that the time the contest starts has changed from 7pm to 6pm on Saturday. As such craftsmanhip times have also changed.

We will offer craftsmanship slots on Friday from 7pm to 10pm and on Saturday from 9am to 3:30pm. With an overall addition of two hours of craftsmanship judging time!

Awesome! Thanks! My one last question is does the costume have to be finished by the time you register? If I don't have the costume done by the 15th I know I'll be done weeks before NDK. Does it matter when it's finish I guess is the question.
