Since Winter is coming close to an end, and Elitch Gardens is opening up soon (I believe March or April), I thought it would be fun to go down to Elitch Gardens, put on our cosplays, take some photos, ride the rides, and just all around have some cosplay fun. Would anyone be interested?

Information-

Date: May 15th, Saturday
Time: 10 a.m.?
Meet Up Spot: Next to the Merry Go Round
Admission: $39.99 (It's a little expensive is the only problem)
Cosplaying: Optional
Photoshoots: Yes
Stuff To Bring: Bag, Money, Food (optional), Water

This is only a idea currently. I want to get peoples thoughts on the matter, because the price might make it so some people can't come.

I'm in! I got a season pass for chirstmas, I can bring a cooler with some stuff to make sandwhiches and stuff, I do this every year and it's cheaper to bring food and eat in the parking lot then pay at the park but I'm so in on this ^^

We have actually done this for several summers. Once the meet-up thread for 2010 Summer is posted this will be a regular outing.

Going to Elitches in Cosplay is amazing and so much fun!! I'll be going as Rin if we do this ^.^ and I belive the first day it opens is April 24th but the first day it's open from 10am-10pm is May 15th and that's on a saturday, but what ever day it is I'm in! I'll probably be there early so I can get my season pass early.

If I go, I'm not sure on what I'd go as. I'd need a costume that wouldn't be too hot and wouldn't fly off me xD

yea i may wear my itachi one even though ill replace the pants with skinny jeanz x3 it depends on a new cosplay ill be in but yea i wont go on a few rides cause.. ya.. x3

If I can get one of my cosplays done in time, I'll be going as Haseo Xth Form. If not, I'ma wear my Akatsuki robe :p

Sounds like a winning plan to me! If it's on a day/time that I can actually be there I'll be there. Once you have a more solid date/time I'll see what I can do. ^_^

mind if I assists to help you plan?

Garden rules:
No weapons (even props)
No chains (Orgy members... your coat might get confiscated)
No outside food (they will search bags)
-They don't mind water bottles but food they will ask you to take back to your car

aaaaand if you can arrange far enough in advance, you have to go to customer service the day before or earlier, but if you have 10+ people going you can buy tickets at a group rate of $20 per person. though you have to purchase the tickets when you go into customer sevice... a bit of a pain but it's saves the whole group a lot of moolah...

good luck, hope to plan a few of these trips myself like last fall. probably won't make this meet up

Hey guys, I'ma post a list of cosplays that will be worn ther and people going. Also, I'll try and make some groups of cosplays that will look regular together for a photoshoot :p

I will be going! (As I too have a season pass) though I am not POSITIVE whom I will be cosplaying... (Probably Yuffie as she is the one that will be hardest to mess up combined with not overheating)
