Cosplay Cache, now accepting commissions for NDK 2010!

Heyo again!  I'm a local cosplay commissioner that is also on cosplay staff at NDK.  Cosplay is my full-time job, has been for three years now, as well as part-time for five years before that.  I'm taking costume orders for this year's NDK (or other conventions) now! :3  Please either post inquiries here or send them in a PM, either way.

I make everything :3  I have experience in woodworking, metalworking, leatherworking, plastics, wonderflex, resin, and electronic wiring in my costumes and props, not to mention extensive experience in fur and foam, and I have resources for airbrushing as well.  I'm currently branching out into fiberglass and vacuum machine molding of acrylics, plexiglas, and styrene.

I've been thinking about this and seeing a lot of people go to eBay to buy costumes having them come in and not fit, or being the wrong colors, etc. What you see on eBay usually isn't that sellers work what you usually see is a good picture of a costume that everyone of those sellers uses. They tell you they custom fit their costumes but they don't what they do is take your measurements and fit you into a size category, sometimes it works out ok. But most people don't fit neatly into one category so the costume comes back not fitting properly.

Now when you order from Sporkie she asks for all your measurements, and I mean ALL of them, and actually uses them. The tunic for my Yuiri costume fit perfectly!! It hugged in the right places and yet was big enough to accommodate my hips. I usually make all my costumes because 1) I like doing it and 2) I've never really trusted anyone to make something that would fit me properly better than I could. After seeing all the hard work and detail (massive detail) Sporkie puts into costumes, I decided to commission her to make a costume for me and it turned out beautifully and fit perfectly. I'm still amazed at the work you did on the boots and gloves!

So really if you're looking for a good costume for your money and want it done right, Sporkie is your girl. Plus she's local, which means no outrageous shipping costs. ^__^

I am soooo nervous about Cosplaying for the first time and trying to get it all together, but I do have a great designer making the majority of it.... Which reminds me Sporkie, I am working on finding the shirt >_<

Ahh, yes! :3  I've been dying the red flames on your jacket recently.  My bathtub is pink now! XD  I neglected to mention that it was drying in there, and my husband turned on the water, and...yeah.  Pink tub.  I got most of it off, though. ;p

Katie, thanks! <3  I try to explain it to people, but it never comes out right.  You put it much better than I ever could!
