cosplay: short for costume play, is a type of performance art in which participants don costumes and accessories to represent a specific character or idea.
picnic: a trip or excursion to the country, seaside, etc., on which people bring food to be eaten in the open air.
cosplay picnic: slightly silly random antics of geeks set outdoors....possibly seaside too
tis' the beginning of the year and once again its time to jump the gun of the upcoming cosplay picnic aka CosNic to keep it short. last year was a pretty cool turnout. weird humurous games, good people make all the difference. this year we should mimic this experience if not make it better I dare say.
for the last two years we've held the CosNic at FoxRun park in Monument, CO -slightly outside Colo Springs. I think we agreed this would be the official spot for this gathering of geeks, but we can discuss that if need be. as always all thoughts and opinions will be considered and thought upon but ultimately if my Lt. doesnt like it, it aint happenin', well maybe. mwhahahahaha......
