For those of you that sent your applications in I will be announcing the winners on Sunday, February 21st, sometime during the evening.

Please do not ask if you got a spot, these questions will be ignored, if you persist you will be warned, if you continue to persist after you’ve been warned then you will lose your table if you got it and someone else will get your spot.

Just to clear things up folks, please wait till Sunday.

Hey be nice, its not like i was asking " I WANNA KNOW NOW!!!"
Sheesh. I was just curious if they were even going to tell the people who didnt get in that information is all. Since it says we would know by now... Its not like im impacient, just curious. They can take their time to answer if they want. I totally understand its alot of work to go through all those people.

AND NOW! I finally got to the part where winners will be anounced on the 21st. I didnt see that earlier, so i apologise, but its not like i was being mean about wanting to know right away or somthing. I can wait XD

you're the one inferring rudeness on my part. curtness I'll admit, but yuki said specifically not to ask. I'm sure this has as much to do with the DR and AA staff's workload as it has to fairness to us. Which means it applies to everyone, and not just those who entered or those who got tables. I didn't mean to be mean, so I apologize as well, but I was just reiterating in the simplest way possible what had been stated earlier in the thread: "don't ask. be patient." It's a good policy to read through a thread before you post in it. Again, not trying to be rude, just informative. I'm anxious as well, but we'll be told when we're told. Everything happens eventually.

The issue of the date for information on the tables has been resolved. Any further discussions not related to such, will be removed from this thread. If you wish to discuss it further please take it to PM but the matter should be considered concluded.

To ensure more people see this I'm posting it early before the list goes up tomorrow night. To those that didn’t get a table and have a friend who did and who is willing to share with you that's fine. But for those who that got the tables and are willing to share space I need you to contact me via email or pm and tell me who they are and give me both a description of what they sell and at least one reference picture so that they can be approved. *even if they already applied for AA*

This is for several reasons, first off if they weren’t signed up with you and you add them I need to know because their products have to be approved. Secondly there are special stickers this year for new, returning, and guest artists and table helpers, if I don't know they will be there they won’t get a sticker. Keep in mind that if you share space with someone and they're selling something that has not been approved it will not just affect what happens to them but your entire table.

On a separate note there were several tables approved that had something that came close to the 18+ rule, when those people get the email there will be a note at the top reminding them that the item in question can't be on openly displayed. There were also a couple tables that had a wide variety of craft items, a couple of the items were deemed to alike to someone who had already been picked and they will receive a note in their email telling them that they can't see that particular item. If they attempt to sell said item at the con they will be asked to put it away, if they refuse they could lose their table at NDK.

How was it decided who got "First dibs" on a certain type of item?

If I had to guess; you are insinuating that they determined who gets to sell what type of item by the first person who had that type of item being drawn first from the lottery; suggestive of “first come first serve”.

I do not know what method they used to determine who gets to sell what type of multiple items; but I do know there is a way to determine that, that is not first come first serve

IE: Three people submit cat ears as the item they are selling. To determine which of the three applicants can sell cat ears, the names could be put into another lottery system, therefore the applicants would be randomized again, and a name could be drawn from that.

Yeah, I can't image they did first come/first serve, so I was curious how they did do it. The secondary lottery seems the most consistent to me too. I'm hoping I don't have anything that overlaps, since we're mostly prints.

It was basicly a flip of the coin doing the best 2 out of 3 for who got to sell the item.

I am beginning to send out emails to everyone that applied to the NDK Artists Alley for 2010, you will receive an email if you got picked in the lottery, or if you are on the waiting list so just getting an email doesn't mean you got a space. Please be patient, this will take me a while.

For those of us who were put on the waiting list, is there a way you could tell us what number on the list we are?

There are no numbers on the wait list, the applications are chosen by a new lottery for that spot.

For those of us that did receive a table, do we have to notify you that we have pre-registered, or do you have that information?

I can get that information, you don't have to tell me as long as you pre reged under the same name you signed up for a table with.

(I know this is still subject to change but...) About how many people have a table so far? How many on the waiting list?
