What log in should we use? Is it one we use on the sight all ready, or create new account?
Just made a new one.

You don't need an account to submit an application.

Quick note: The file size limit for sample images is 2MB. If your images are larger than that, please resize them before attempting to upload them. Images larger than 2MB will be rejected.

If I sign up for a half table, and a friend of mine signs up for a half table, and by luck, we both get spots, can we request to be put at the same table?

Also since this has been asked several times I'll bring it up here. When you send you application if it comes back with a red box it means that field is required and wasn't filled out. You will not get a confirmation email once your application is sent in, only the screen after that says that it was sent.

so the deadline is -through- the 14th up until midnight correct? I would have submitted our application on day one, but some things are a bit crazy with my group members...I hate procrastinating..especially when I'm not even the one procrastinating!

So, is there are multiple people in a group, can they all throw their name in (I.e. is Suzy, Katie, and Bobby Ann all make doujinshi together, all three submit an application separate, and they all share the table of whomever wins), or not (So one group is the same as one person)?
And if not, is there some kinda check that's going to be in place at check in (since it's not really something that can be checked during sign up) to make sure no one tried to cheat the system that way, and will lose their table if they try it?
The former doesn't seem to fair, but if it's the way things are it's worth knowing for probably more then a few groups.
In general, is there going to be a check through to make sure tables match what was submitted in their applications, since we know already one person submitted themselves with false images that aren't theirs? It would be pretty easy to get you and your closest 15 friends to submit apps (I know about that many artist who's spend the 15 minutes to help me get a table no problem), stuff the ballot, and then just use the table of whomever wins.

Remember such tactics will only reflect poorly on those involved. In the end, such things will only ruin the experience for everybody.
That said, I am not sure what plan has been put in place for such a low-brow attempt. I am positive there will be repercussions though.

Terra, any person caught entering either false information *including art* or in a group under different primary applicant names will lose their chance at a table, and if the situation calls for it, all future chances at getting a table in Artists Alley.
I am working on a way to have artists verify their work when contracts go out and and are sent back in, I already have something in place for check in.

Registration for Artists Alley 2010 is now closed, if you missed signing up please try again next year.
For those of you that sent your applications in I will be announcing the winners on Sunday, February 21st, sometime during the evening. I need to check to make sure the extra tables I would like to add will fit in the atrium and not just on paper.
Please do not ask if you got a spot, these questions will be ignored, if you persist you will be warned, if you continue to persist after you’ve been warned then you will lose your table if you got it and someone else will get your spot.

Just wondering how many tables will there be for the artist alley this year? Also, not sure if this is the right thread to post this question. I remember there was an island of tables in the artist alley that were empty about half the time during the convention, including at least one or two that were never occupied for anytime over the whole weekend... Will any of those tables be available for artists? I apologize if this question was answered somewhere else before. Was just curious, since there is a high demand for artist alley, it would be great if we could fit in as many people in as possible.

I wont know the exact number of tables until I can check the measurements, so you'll have to wait until the winners are announced.
We have a block of tables set for guest artists every year, those tables are handled by guest services and the guests come and go durring the convention as they do panels and events so they are not always running their tables.

Hey be nice, its not like i was asking " I WANNA KNOW NOW!!!" Sheesh. I was just curious if they were even going to tell the people who didnt get in that information is all. Since it says we would know by now... Its not like im impacient, just curious. They can take their time to answer if they want. I totally understand its alot of work to go through all those people. AND NOW! I finally got to the part where winners will be anounced on the 21st. I didnt see that earlier, so i apologise, but its not like i was being mean about wanting to know right away or somthing. I can wait XD
