So recently I watched Eden of The East...First episode...
There's a crazy Japanese guy that's naked [yes it's censored!!! Haha gotta love scribbles]
with a hand gun and a cell phone that has digital money, and he has no memories...
The rest I just don't get. I'm on episode 9 [Almost done-11 episodes]
But it left me wondering, what other weird anime is out there.
So I thought, "Why not make a new topic and see the results?"

Weirdest anime? Well, Angel's Egg usually tops the list. After that, most of the Urusei Yatsura movies. Oh, and Paprika.

Nabeshin's classics Excel Saga and Puni Puni Poemi are very wacky indeed. And lets not forget good ol' FLCL.

I've seen a lot of those shows. A lot of them

Tough to top the gems that have been listed so far, but Dennou Coil is at least weirder than Eden of the East. More that comes to mind is Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Bakemonogatari

I second Puni Puni Poemi (though it was a date movie in my circle, don't ask.)

But Cat Soup will take the cake always as the weirdest, I think I made my friends' brains hurt from watching it.

I'll add Pani Poni Dash! to the mix. It certainly has some very odd moments; about as random as Excel Saga.

Second on the Photon: The Idiot Adventures. I only got to see it in English, but ... yeah... certainly strange.

Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi is probably the top one for me. That show is just all over the place but is hilarious

I haven't seen too many weird anime as I try to stay away from them so they don't scar me for life. XD But I must say, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo scared me quite a bit. I dunno if that counts, but man that is one messed up show. One that made me go "Wut" from the start was Sasami. That one is a little off its rocker too.

I just saw a new one. Inukami! I haven't seen it all but from what I did see its pretty weird. People seem to end up naked continuously and the bad guys are all perverts, and things get blurred out with elephants.
