Heya peoples.   Sometimes my job gets a little stale and I need something to pass the time.   Flash games are usually my thing, but sometimes I'll download a game from an indy developer.  At any rate, I was trying to think why I was keeping these to myself and thought I would share one for every day that I am at work.   To be clear, This is not a thread to discuss these games or to post anything really.  This is a thread to be used as a resource to find games that are fun to play for an hour or 2 to kill time.

1st is a downloadable game for Windows.   Its called "Race around the world" and its like sonic if it was drawn by a 5 year old.  Its great and the music is top notch.

Today's free game is going to be...

Bubble Tanks Tower Defense
This is a flash game so everyone with a browser can take part.  Its based off of the tower defense games series and the bubble tanks series of flash games, hence the title of the game.  This has some interesting additions to it and some new strategy.   Enjoy!

The game for today is:

Star Guard
This game has a very old school feel.   Looks like Atari sprites and plays like an NES game.   It was a fun and challenging game which can be a bit frustrating at times.   This game is a download but can be played on PC or Mac since its built in flash.  Have fun!

Todays game is a flash one!   Mac and Linux users rejoice!

It is called:

Crush the Castle
You command a trebuchet and you fling rocks and other things at the Kings and Queens castle in order to tear it down.

I know I had already posted today but thought that I would give you Kon'ers a game with some meat to it.

League of Legends
This a game based off of Defense of the Ancients (DotA) which is a add on to Warcraft 3.   I have been playing this game for the past month and love it.   Its pretty much a mash up of a Tower defense game, RPG, RTS and  3rd person PVP.   It can get intense.   This is a game that you can play for free or buy things for.   Up to you, ether way, the experience is the same.  It is only a PC game currently (sorry Mac and Linux users).  I highly suggest to try it out.  If you end up making an account, friend me up with my summoner name of "DJBullock".

Super Mario 63
Wait, 63?  Are you alright in the head DJ Bullock?  Isnt it 64?  Well yes, when you play it on the N64 it is.  This is a flash game and it combines aspects of all Mario games.  Pretty expansive and long.  Should take you at least a couple hours if not more!

Navigate your elephant through the same level.  Sounds simple?  Nothing is as simple as it seams...

The game today was sent as a suggestion:

Cargo Bridge

This is a flash physics puzzle game that should keep you ether entertained or frustrated for hours.   If you need to take a back and come back to it, that is no problem since it has a save feature.  You need to build a bridge to get your workers across.  Make sure your bridge is safe and with the least cost possible.

Perfect Balance
This is a flash game that is both calming and relaxing while also being massively frustrating.  Balance multiple objects and hopefully they stay put.

Blasting Agent

This flash game reminds me of an old atari game with NES controls.   Its a fun action platformer.  Just like those old style games, it can be very difficult and frustrating at parts.  Good luck!

Small Worlds

An adventure game that gradually opens up as you explore your space.   I really liked the atmosphere and look of this one.   Hope you do to.

Magnetic Moment

Another game suggested by Nogardous.  Physics puzzle game that seams pretty easy.  Use magnets to pull or repel the balls into a bin.  Good luck, you will need it.

Paradox Embrace

This is a puzzle platformer, one of my favorite genre of flash games.   You need to get the item in each level but flipping between the past, present and future.  By flipping the time you are in, the environment will change with you.  Pretty fun little game to spend an hour or two with.

IWTBG

IWTBG or AKA I Want To Be a Guy is a game is a download for windows and has been called 8 bit masochism.   This is one of the most, unfair, hard, and stressful games ever.   It has been designed that way.   This will take you most of the weekend if you dont rage quit before the end of the first screen.  You will need a massive amount of patience and skill to get through this one.

Gretel and Hansel

This flash adventure game has great story telling and art in it.   Its an older style adventure game something akin to Monkey Island or Police Quest.  You may have to disable your pop up blocker to play this one but you will agree that it was worth it.

Time Still

A puzzle game that has you control the flow of time to get the crystals.   Interesting design on this flash game.   Well its built on flash but may need to be downloaded.

Portal : The Flash Verison

Title is pretty self explanatory.  Its a 2d version of portal made in flash.  Great fun!

Just found out that a lot of older games, some made before some of you were born, are now available for free.  On Fridays, Ill try to post a game that will last a while, something to fill the weekend.  So guess what I have for you today?

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time

This is the first game in the new series of the Prince of Persia games.  This game is amazing.   Hope you enjoy and yes it is free.

This game is an action RPG like Zelda.    Much fun.   Make sure to level A LOT before you take on the 3 Knights!

I have been sick these past couple of days and havn't been doing much.   I am back now however and the game for today is:

Mechanical Commando 2

Use the WASD keys and your mouse to guide your mech to destruction and devastation.  Different types of missions and weapons upgrades will have you playing this game for a while.
