I'm bumping this thread because we've had a wave of interest around NDK time and maybe I'll still catch some people before they leave the forums until around NDK 2011. Many phone calls consisted of people who had friends who just came to town for the convention and wanted to take them to the anime shops in town. Others were reminded that we existed after seeing us at NDK this year. So, to repeat...
Gimme Anime has stopped being a retail establishment and has gone convention/internet focused. Our current location is an office/warehouse, which is not set up for browsing. Most product is in boxes and plastic bins. I used the term "focused", because we do still sell out of the office, you just have to tell us what you want and we can get it out of the warehouse. Or you can pick up a hold box or a web store order there. Provided we are in the office. Always call first.
And, no, we will not be re-opening a retail shop in the foreseeable future.
