Evangelion 2.0 movie
« on: January 23, 2011, 10:16:15 am »
In case anyone is interested,

the Denver Film Center at 2510 E. Colfax Ave is screening Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance
for 1 week only (I believe).

My husband and I went last night, and the room was full! To be fair, there were only 38 seats, but still, it was packed! :)

I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place, so forgive if it's not! :)

That's the one thing I griped about when they moved venues. The room is really small and uncomfortable for some because the screen is high and all the seats are low, so if you dont get the very back love seats or that back row you may be a lil pissy. The room where they screened SummerWars is perfect and seats like any standard theater, but that Hideaway room is a mockery :o

Anywho, now that I'm done with that. Yeah I saw it on Saturday at the 5pm show :P

@toadstoolssecretluvchild
That was actually the theater where they screened Summer Wars the second time, and I agree the theater is too small and the screen is too big, so if you sit any where but the back to rows, and or center.  It gives you the worlds worst kink in your neck.

I honestly thought it was a good movie, I saw it Thursday at 5pm.  Though I was probably one of the few people there that can read subtitles and still watch the movie at the same time.  Honestly, (trying not to spoiler it here) I liked, quite different from the series, and overall quite worth the watch.

Also P.S. I hope people who went to go see it, stayed until after the credits to see a preview for the 3rd movie.

And if you missed it at the starz, and dont know if you want to buy it on DVD/Blu-ray it will be playing on (Tuesday) April 26th at 5pm.

Also because a lot of people in the theater asked it will be coming out on DVD and Blu-ray March 29th.  Pre-order it on Rightstuf and Amazon right now for only $20.00 (+ shipping and handling)
