Walked in, was greeted by hundreds of cosplayers. I felt like I had just entered Bliss.

My first very exact memory was walking down the halls, and coming across the same guy dressed as me- albeit much better- Beat from JSRF. I'm terrible with names, so I always forget the real names of people I meet, but me and him have met up every year. Keep the JSRF alive dude; you rock!

They say "Evil prevails when good men fail to act." What they ought to say is: "Evil prevails."

my most prominent memory of NDK 3 was jeremy, yes that jeremy-oh-captain-my-captain-jeremy, cosplaying as squall, and dancing. and, oh boy o_O dancing...

omg my first memory... 1st year I went my besty told me about it and we with with another good friend and we all decided to be someone from Bleach. lol yay for me and my besty who were silly sophmores at this time had my besty's mom make ours overnight and we knew NOTHING about cosplay so we didn't bother to care about how we looked and it was a sleepover!

that being said.. we had energy drinks and were too excited to sleep.... its a good thing we got some sleep. then by the time it was time to go, we were amazingingly pumped. all throughout the hr and 40 minute trip to get there, squealing out heads off by the time we got to bellview/syracuse as soon as we saw some cosplayers walking. Even rolled down our windows and yelled out the few characters we knew, go figure! Cloud was one of the first few xDD

So came our first time being a part of a shoot with our fail cosplays then the dealers room.. omg.. we were dancing and didnt want to get out as if it was toys r us (basically it is and i still get excited over it xD) but yeah! though we only got to spend a few hours there for our first time, my gosh was it a blast! =D

we were ichigo, lieutenant urahara, and schoolgirl rukia... lol the Rukia being the best out of us and still is pretty awesome xD

Let's see, my first NDK related memory.  2005 I went to Gimme Anime for the first time, and, surprised by the lack of merchandise, mentioned it and Roger told me that they'd been to a convention the week before and were pretty cleaned out.  I put it out of my mind for the year and attended the following year (2006) after my A) my first real girlfriend broke up with me, and B) finding out that Jennie Breeden (The Devil's Panties) was going to be there.  Decided a full 2 days before Kan.

My first actual NDK memory was arriving and being completely overwhelmed with excitement (and maybe a little social anxiety).  Second memory after check in was meeting Ms. Breeden.

I had so much fun I didn't want to leave each night since I didn't have a room or anything.  My mother practically had to drag me out of there.  I enjoyed myself so much that I decided that I wanted to help, so the next year I volunteered, and the following year I was made staff.

I can also help to identify bootlegs, if you have a questionable item, send me a message and some pictures if you can and I'll get back to you when I can.

My first was when I stepped into the hotel and thought to myself how quaint and nice it was to be at a smaller convention where people were so calm.  My next was to wonder where the dealers room was where I was amazed at how large the selection was.
