Last year we got together for the parade of lights this year we are going to get together at a mall and shop, eat together or see a movie afterward. Feel free to come in Holiday cosplay. Not required. We are also doing White Elephant Gift Exchange.

White Elephant Gift Exchange is where everyone brings a random small gift. Then Everyone who brought one gets to pick another after all are put in a pile. Gifts should be wrapped or in a bag.

Colorado Mills Mall
Saturday December 19th
2pm meeting inside by the Panda Express in the food court

We will wiat 15 minutes for people to show. If you are going to be late try to have someones number.

Alternatively you could join up on the meetup planned on the 26th, this has typically been a white elephant exchange as well. Come and meet with some of the other forum regulars before the big NYE party

Would you mind a bunch of randoms in your home? lol. I could provide snacks if we do that. I've been wanting to get a group together to watch Summer Wars. We could do the mall thing then watch anime.

Yeah. ^^; My parents are sorta staying with me while their roof is being fixed so that might be a deterrent. And it seems that people are up for shopping....

aw summer wars, that takes me back - oh how i miss last week

shopping would be cool. its always good to have people there to make sure you dont mess somethin up. ans since i havent started shoppin yet, i dont see why not.

So Astroboy is out. Sorry i suggested it, i had no idea. Shopping seems like a popular option. Just remember the mall will be crazy the weekend before Christmas. So now the question which mall? I personally think Cherry Creek Mall would be best. Central location. If you have a better idea for something to do mention it.

While Avatar seems like an option i don't know how many people are up for it, either way we could find a restaurant nearby afterward to eat together at.

im a saturday person myself. on weekdays im always workin so those i never make plans on. sat/sun are my only actual 'free days'

the only bad thing about cherry creek though is that the stores are not exactly the cheapest and also, 'cool' it lacks. not everyone wants to shop at burberry and desiel type stores yeah its centrally located but not neccessarily the best. id say a good place would be colorado mills parks. its got just about everything near it. its a bit moreso western but its just a mecca of variety. sorry thats just my opinion $:-\$

Ooo, this sounds good.

I definately need to do shopping, and it would be even more epic to do it with fellow cosplayers. =3 I'm in, probably on Sunday, though. Depends if I can get Saturday off from Westernaires. And yeah, the Colorado Mills is EPIC.

I love that mall, and it hasn't been hit hard at all by the economy, so there's TONS of stores of all kinds.
